By 1998 this album may seem dated, but never has there been a more important time to buy it and listen to what it is telling us. Most of the tracks on Nevermind have been crucified in almost every grunge club, covered by almost every student band....but delve a little deeper than the straightforward guitar riffs and catchy melodies and you will find a timeless and sacred recording which speaks of the desparation of Generation X like no other. This album with its rocky, harsh exterior also has the element of Kurt Cobain`s pure genius - the sensitive reflections of a man who speaks for many. Recommended to anyone who can look under the surface.
