The light hearted and warm fuzzy movie got us out and about looking for the movie soundtrack. We had some difficulty finding it and not until we consulted the Amazon Website
Anyway, we are not opera buffs except for Puccini who was apparently the Lloyd Webber of the 19th century!. We loved the interweaving of the music with the romantic strain of the film. Rich and gratifying like the food they were dishing out alla spagetti.
It is a mix of specific theme related music and perenials like the items of Pavarotti.This is a soundtrack to impress dinner guests especially if the menu is italian, Highly recommended.

This was a wonderful fun movie and the sound tract is terrific! I went right home from seeing the movie and found the soundtract on Amazon.com. I was enjoying it at home within three days of seeing the movie. It has some well known opera pieces along with some really cute mambo & french pieces. All in all it is a pleasant listen experience! See the movie and then enjoy the soundtract! I can't wait for the movie to be available, would love to see it again. Was a great movie and was hoping the sound track would have had more of the Michael Buble type music-a little too much of the opera for me. All in all, was a great CD tho.
