I was waiting to speak to my travel agent; it was a long wait and there was music from a radio station. The music I heard was particularly bad, annoying even; I started to become uncomfortable and had to keep the phone away from my ear: it was really getting on my nerves, and I'm not exagerating. The music was so bland, insipid. The songs were so bad that I had to jot the lyrics down from that monotonous country twangy sound I heard, just to see who was the "artist" resposnible for this cacophonic offense to music, stereo systems, and those who appreciate really good music; who could possibly have written such a song and singing style. And so it is that I discovered Norah Jones; akin to waking up discovering you have to go to the dentist that morning. The wait on the phone was long and one bad song after another by Norah continued their incessant offense on my auditory apparatus, confirming and accenting my original impression. It's sad that the alternative to so much modern pop garbage is garbage all the same.Free Music Review: CD-Norah-Come

A very good CD. Very bluesy and jazzy, different. A gravely kind of voice on such a young girl. Playing in minor keys isn't easy and it sets the tone. Very well done.Free Music Review: Wonderfully soothing and relaxing

I purchased this cd having only heard two of the tracks (Come Away With Me and Don't Know Why) and was positively thrilled with the rest of the offerings. I listen to the music from this CD everyday and never does it get boring. I love it. Some other songs on her other CDs, such as "Sunrise" and "Don't Miss You At All" are wonderful. These songs are always in my playlist on ITunes. So sexy. It's almost like she fell out of love and now she's just selling out to make money. I hope she doesn't go off the deep end. I pray Norah gets back to your roots. I'm looking for growth, but your new CDs are nothing like this masterpiece. Sheena Easton was RUINED by Prince. Other artists have been messed up by record companies. Jewel was one. I think she's gotten back to what she LOVES. I don't hear LOVE in Norah's voice anymore.Free Music Review: Amazing CD
