Free Music Notes for Not Too Late

Free Music Review: She doesn't dissapoint
Hit: 5 Stars

I now have all of Norah Jones' CDs and I have to say I can count on one finger the number of artists that have delivered 100% satisfaction with every output. That one vote goes to Norah Jones. Each and every song is as good as the last in my opinion, just like the first two collections. If you liked either of the first two albums you will like this one. The same style, the same exceptional quality.

Free Music Review: Soothing for the soul!
Hit: 5 Stars

A very nice effort from this talented young lady. Adding a bit sharper edge, Norah is still evolving to musician par excellence for seemly the gen-boomer. The SNL gang once joked when NJ turned 25 saying "Norah Jones turned 25 today while her audience turned 50". "Not Too Late" provides us with a nice mix of tunes while maintaining a somewhat delicate disposition!

Free Music Review: My Favorite NoJo Album
Hit: 5 Stars

Give this album a chance to sink into your heart. Don't just listen to it - read the lyrics along with the songs. Each is a colorful slice of life and love; of conflict and the quest for resolution - in the small and grand scheme. These are deeply moving songs that demand all your senses to be thoroughly appreciated. Drink them down slowly as you would a fine wine - you won't be disappointed.

Free Music Review: Better Late than Never
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm not really understanding some of the references to this album being overtly "folk" or "country"...I find this album far less country than "Feels Like Home", instead settling comfortably in between hints of jazz, soul, and yes, a little bit of country. The result is an evenly flowing current of thoroughly enjoyable, low key, sumptuous expression. I think this is Jones' best work to date.

Free Music Review: 5 stars
Hit: 5 Stars

Despite what some people have said, this album is full of very original work. No, Norah didn't completely change her sound, but she does not need to. I feel she was creative in the music. She did delve into a politics, but didn't do so in a preachy manner. This album does sound darker than her other two. Five stars because her music is a refreshing reminder of what music is all about.
