Free Music Notes for Not Too LateFree Music Review: Lovely and original Hit: 5 Stars
I have grown to appreciate this cd more with each listen. The songs are lovely and original, and there are so many phenomenal and talented musicians backing Ms. Jones on this cd. I love the sound of the cello in "Broken", the delicate sound of a string section in "Not Too Late", the plethora of instruments and sounds in "Sinkin' Soon", and the imagery and moodiness of "The Sun Doesn't Like You". Each song is special and unique. You won't hear alot of these songs on Top 40 radio, but in this case, that is a GOOD thing!
Free Music Review: Not To Late Hit: 5 Stars
The whole album is great. When you buy a Norah Jones album it's like buying a Beatle's album, most of the songs are really good and at least 6 songs are really great.
My favorites in order are:
1)Until the end, 2)Not too late, 3)Thinking about you, 4)Not my friend,
5)Wake me up, 6) Broken, 7)My dear country, 8) Little room.
She is the most talented writer and musician out there. She is soulful with her singing, soulful playing the keyboard or piano and she is naturally beatiful.
Free Music Review: NORAH DOES IT AGAIN! Hit: 5 Stars
With her raspy voice and smooth vocal delivery, I could listen to her sing the alphabet and I'd enjoy it!
This album of songs fits Norah's voice perfectly. As with most albums there are always a few standouts when you first play it. The ones that grabbed me right away were Sinkin' Soon and Small Room.
But it doesn't take many more listens to get to enjoy just about every song on the album!
If you're a Norah Jones fan, you'll enjoy this one.
I know I do.
Free Music Review: Norah's Soothing Music Notes Hit: 5 Stars
The first time I listened to Norah's new CD Not Too Late, I was a bit surprised at how different it sounds when compared to her very first hit CD Come Away. A part of me wants to hear music exactly like Come Away but another part of me appreciates Norah's music no matter what the underlying melody sounds like. Not Too Late is very much like her sophomore CD Feels Like Home. I just love her voice, her acoustics, and her band because the music they make together is meaningful and satisfying.
Free Music Review: A Stunning Return to R & B Hit: 5 Stars
This album is going to slot right in there with my favorites !!. The song "Sinking Soon" is in a listening class of it's own - truly superb. But then, I cannot fault any of the songs.
After what I would have rated a disastrous experiment in `Feels Like Home', Nora returns to the music style that made her famous. What an absolutely mind-blowing and chill inducing experience !!. I have not enjoyed an album this much since `Come away with me'. Bravo !! Bravo and Bravo !! again.
