Free Music Notes for Northern Exposure: Music From The Television Series (1990-95 Television Series)Free Music Review: Great Disapointment Hit: 1 StarsThe music wasn't any of the good songs that are normally associated with the show.
Free Music Review: This CD compilation just makes me feel good! Hit: 4 StarsHaving been a long-time fan of Northern Exposure, I was really pleased to see this CD at a used bookstore the other day and quickly snapped it up. There are 12 tracks on this CD, and some of my favorites are the theme music [of course] -such a quirky composition so evocative of the show's spirit,Jolie Louise[ by Daniel Lanois], At Last[Etta James], and When I Grow Too Old to Dream [Nat King Cole], among others. Listening to some of these tracks was like a walk down memory lane for me, remembering some of the scenes in which the songs were played. Like a long-time friend or good book, this CD is a wonderful companion on a lazy afternoon.
Free Music Review: Northern Exposure Music CD Hit: 2 StarsThe selection of music on the Northern Exposure CD was good however there weren't very many songs on it. Towards the end of the CD there was a shorter version of three songs. I'd rather have the entire song.
Free Music Review: STILL MY FAVORITE Hit: 5 StarsThis CD has to be one of the best I have ever listened to. The music is a wonderful mix, especially when you have a group of very diverse listeners (all ages). It appeals to everyone and puts everyone in a GOOD MOOD!!! I would highly recommend it!!
Free Music Review: Better than I remember Hit: 5 StarsI originally bought this as a cassette soon after the TV show reached NZ. I was clearing up and found it and thought it would be great to get it on CD to listen again to the great compilation. And I wasn't disappointed. What a great sound. The music is so lively and enjoyable. Brings a smile to my face.
