Free Music Review: Greatest rap album of all time

Anyone who considers themselves to be a fan of hip hop NEEDS to own this album..I know it sounds crazy but I bought this album almost 2 months ago and have listened to at least 3 tracks on it everyday since i bought it..When I first listened to it i skipped over a few tracks and didnt find it to be a classic until i actually listened to every track and listened to what he was saying...Then I realized he was a genius.
1.Intro 10/10 its an amazing intro..it leads up to the next track well
2.Things Done Changed 9/10 He talks about how his lifes been hard basically and how everything has gone wrong.
Best line:
"Cuz the streets is a short stop,
either you slingin crack rock or you gotta wicked jump shot"
3.Gimme the loot 9/10 this is really amazing lyrically..
4.Machine Gun Funk 9/10 again he talks about how he lives by the gun
Best Line:
"and N****s wonder how i live the mack life,
makin money smokin mics like crack pipes"
5.Warning 10/10 its insane how he tells this story so well.. the first few lines make you think youre right there with him
6.Ready To Die 8.5/10 tells how hes not scared of death
Best line:
"I got techniques drippin out my butt cheeks,
sleep on my stomach so I dont f*** up my sheets,
my s*** is deep deeper than my grave G,
I'm ready to die and nobody can save me"
7.One More Chance 10/10 this is so funny..one for the ladies lets just say
Best line:
"I got the cleanest meanest penis,
ya never seen this stroke of genius"
8.F*** Me(interlude) 10/10 its so funny..one for the ladies
9.The What feat.Method Man 8.5/10 Meth and Biggie sound good together
10.Juicy 10/10 I LOVE this track..best lyrically and has a sick hook and the best beat.
best line:
"Super Nintendo sega genesis,
when i was dead broke man i couldnt picture this,
50 inch screen money green leather sofa,
got two rides a limousine with a chaffeur"
11.Everyday Struggles 9.5/10 this is an underappreciated track that really shows off his storytelling ability.Has been used in a lot of remixes over more addictive beats.
Best line:
"Im sein body after body and that mayor Giuliani,
aint tryin to see no black man turn to Jon Gotti,
my daughter use the potty so she older now,
educated street knowledge Im a mold her now"
12.Me and My B**** 9/10 the greatest hip hop love song of all time
Best line:
"When I met ya I admit my first thoughts was a trick,
you looked so good I suck on your daddy's d***"
13.Big Poppa 10/10 its basically the pop song of the album but is so addictive
best line:
"Money h**s and clothes,
All a n**** knows"
14.Respect 9.5/10 again u need to listen to this more than once to really understand how great it is..talks about his life since the day he was born
best line:
"10 months in this gut what the f***,
I wish moms would hurry up so I can get buck wild,
rippin mics and s*** New York New York,
ready for the likes of this,
then came the worst date May 21st,
2:19 thats when my momma water burst"
15.Friend of Mine 8/10 basically tells how he cant love a woman
best line:
"Now when Im f***in this Jen I'm invincible,
dont love no h** thats my principle"
16.Unbelievable 10/10 oh my god this is so good lyrically..if you're a lyric lover you'll love this..also has a knockin beat
memorable line:
"ba****ds duckin when big be buckin,
chicken****s be cluckin in my bathroom f***in"
17.Sucidial Thoughts 10/10 this song changed my life
memorable line:
"it dont make sense goin to heaven wit the goodie goodies,
dressed in white i like black timbs and black hoodies"
18.Whot Shot ya? 10/10 has one of the best beats on the album even though its just a bonus track.
"and I'm brooklyn's finest,
you rewind this,
bad boys behind us"
19.Just playing 9/10 talks about all the r and b divas he wants to sleep with.
The bonus tracks and DVD are definitley worth the extra $$$... buy this version cause it has bonus tracks and sounds fresher since it was digitally remastered just last year. Its a great album and I reccomend it to anyone who loves hip hop.. but then again if you're a little girl who listens to britney spears and 50 cent, you probably shouldnt buy this..This isnt for people who consider Nelly,Lil Jon, Ludacris, and G-Unit to be the greatest rappers ever..

Ready To Die Anniversary CD & DVD has been Re-Mixed and Re-Mastered for better sound quality, includes NEVER RELEASED tracks "Dreams" and "Who Shot Ya", and DVD which includes LIVE B.I.G. performance, NEVER BEFORE SEEN and B.I.G. video catalogue including extended CINEMATIC version of "Warning".During the Reagan era of "all-for-me" economics, MCs like Big Daddy Kane and Kool G Rap painted pictures of silky rap gangsterism, inspired by movies like The Mack and Superfly. Out of the post-Reagan rubble came Notorious B.I.G.'s debut, the "Hustler" reality-trip Ready to Die (also the LP debut for beat-thief producer, Sean "Puffy" Combs). Biggie still rhymes about the gold, the Moet, and the ladies, but also reveals the casualties on the road from struggler to hustler to player. "Juicy" sets up Biggie's rags-to-riches story, but then the curtain gets pulled back, with unapologetic, hardcore tracks like "Gimme the Loot" and "Machine Gun Funk."
