Free Music Notes for Nowhere (1997 Film)
Free Music Review: perhaps it's good enough...

There's a few or so good songs on here, mainly toward the middle of the CD, but I think there's a lot of songs here that could have been taken out and replaced with some of the more emotionally-charged music from this movie. The most noticeable example is Mojave 3's "Trying To Reach You" and ESPECIALLY that song (???) in the scene where Hand Job (the drug dealer) was talking on the phone with some film producer or something, highly intoxicated, and Cow Boy came in his pad when Hand Jo got off the phone and demanded where Bart was...(Cow Bo and Bart are lovers in the film, although they drift apart due to Bart's addiction to illegal drugs...).
But if you gotta have the soundtrack for this film, most of the songs on here are pretty good, or almost, and it's got a lot of big names (Radiohead and 311 to name a couple...). I give this 3 stars mainly 'cause it's one of the few CDs I'd own just b/c of a few or so songs and put up with the filler. Why? Because it's the nowhere soundtrack and I love the film, as well as the music (or a lot of) in it.
