Free Music Notes for Kill Bill: Volume 1

Free Music Review: Eclectic mix
Hit: 5 Stars

This is one weird soundtrack but before I go into that I need to reassure you that "yes" the fantastic music including the "stings" from the trailers is on this disc. It's called "Battle without Honor or Humanity" by Tomoyasu Hotei. I've watched the teaser trailer numerous times just for this music.
The mix goes from the dulcet tones of Nancy Sinatra and Meizo Kaji to a 'man with no name' whistle in the wilderness Ennio Morricone to some unnecessary profanity from track 5.
Most of the music is fun but one of the best parts of the disc apart from the above mentioned track 9 are the 3 previews.
Buy it! It's well worth the money.

Free Music Review: Tarantino Pure Genius!!!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

When I first saw this film I was completely speechless when the film was over. When I saw it the second time I was speechless again and just couldn't compare it to any film. After seeing this movie about three times now I went and bought the soundtrack. I love the way Tarantino takes the time into picking what music should be put into his films. Every song on this soundtrack completely fits the film beginning to end.

If you like Tarantinos previous films and soundtracks to his films, then this film and its soundtrack will just completely blow you away. I recommend you buy this soundtrack and I can't wait to see Kill Bill Vol.II and see what music it has to offer.

Free Music Review: Tarantino's best film AND soundtrack to date !!!
Hit: 5 Stars

Tarantino is a master filmmaker and his soundtracks are dead on target with the plot of the films they accompany.

Just as Pulp Fiction had the exact right selections on the soundtrack to match the mood of the storyline and characters, so does Kill Bill Vol. 1. With selections like "Bang Bang" from Nancy Sinatra and "The Lonely Shepherd" by pan flute master Gheorghe Zamfir all in the same score, Tarantino makes every piece of the puzzle of his films fit together with perfect harmony to deliver a powerful experience.

Only for those who have seen the film and enjoyed both it and the music, this soundtrack does not disappoint.

Free Music Review: Kill Bill murders music, as we know it, completely.
Hit: 5 Stars

Kill Bill: The Original Soudtrack is an achievement of great proportions. Whether you're making the always wise purchase to pick up a Tarantino based movie soundtrack or youre just in for some hip, less mainstream, more qualitated musical delight. Either way, pick it up. I cannot stress enough that this isn't for everyone these wild sounds and grooving emotions are for a select few. don't listen to me. Go with your instincts on this one. If you think you'll like it, you will so pick it up. If you're still not completely sure, visit the www.kill-bill.com feature website for a small, 4 track excerpt preview. This is Beta speaking, OVER AND OUT.

Free Music Review: An excellent soundtrack - both during the movie and separate
Hit: 5 Stars

This soundtrack just blew me away when I saw the movie - so Tarantino, and simultaneously so specific to the movie. The music of this movie really sets the tone of the whole thing, and for good reason - the music is almost invariably upbeat, and when it's not, it's often simply beautiful. If you liked the movie, you'll definitely like the soundtrack, as it invokes a sense of the movie. Even if you aren't one for blood and gore, this album has some great music, and I suggest you give it a listen.

"Bang Bang", "Green Hornet" and "The Flower of Carnage" are my favorite tracks, though it's hard to choose.
