Free Music Notes for Kill Bill: Volume 1

Free Music Review: Uncredited Song
Hit: 5 Stars

I don't have to say much, as everyone else has already said, this is a great album. Tarentino has always had a great ear for soundtracks.
I wanted to mention a great song though that is used in the movie but not on the soundtrack or listed in previous reviews.

"I need more love" by Robert Randolph and the Family Band.
Part of this song plays in the scene when the Bride faces Oren Ishi for their final battle, very upbeat, disco like with wailing guitar and syncopated clapping. It makes for a great scene and it's a great song.

Free Music Review: can someone tell me which song goes where?
Hit: 5 Stars

I'd really like to know where in the movie each song plays.I do know some already-like Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood plays when the Bride starts fighting O-Ren till O-Ren makes the first cut,Twisted Nerve plays while Elle Driver prepares to give the Bride a lethal injection,Bang Bang is during the starting credits,The Grand Duel plays after young O-Ren kills Boss Matsumoto, and the 5,6,7,8s play in the House of Blue Leaves. But where does Flower of Carnage come in?If someone knows where all the tracks play, can you please list them out?

Free Music Review: Just. Plain. AWESOME!
Hit: 5 Stars

Now, I'm not a music fan, but this sound track is AWESOME! Just like the movie. Every song on it just rules. he only song I could do without is "That Certain Female" since it doesn't have the Kill Bill feel, but it's still good. Also, I'm no rap fan, and I thought "Ode To O-Ren Ishii" would be horrible, but the song that it's rapped to (In the movie, the song that plays when it's in slow-mo right before she "takes care" of Buck) gives me goosebumps. It's awesome. But it! NOW!

Free Music Review: Tarantino's eclectic collection of songs and sounds for you
Hit: 5 Stars

How can you not love Nancy Sinatra cooing (Sony Bono's) Bang, Bang (My baby shot me down); Al Hirt's impossible trumpeting of the Theme from the Green Hornet or the amazingly accessible 10 minute long version of Santa Esmerelda's Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood? I was also pleased to be introduced to the retro styling of The 5,6,7,8's and Tomoyasu Hotei's modern big band sounds. The rest of the soundtrack is a cool reminder of this masterful flick but the 5 songs I mention are worth the price of this CD.

Free Music Review: Best Movie Best Music
Hit: 5 Stars

I saw the movie and fell in love with it! The movies music is just as good as the movie and is an intrical part of it. The soundtrack helps make the movie even better. If you loved the movie you'll love the music. All the music you hear in the movie is on the soundtrack and even includes some short sound effect clips. my favorite song is either #7,8,9,or 11. And #5 is hilarios to listen to. It's the part of the movie with lucy lu speacking to the councel of yakurza. Ha Ha hilarious!
