Free Music Notes for Kill Bill: Volume 1

Free Music Review: Deliciously Tarantino
Hit: 5 Stars

I love the soundtrack almost as much as I love the movie. It's so good. Only Tarantino could come up with something so ingenious. The music is great - especially the old, eclectic mix of old forgotten songs. Bang Bang and The Lonely Shepherd are so good on this. The RZA stuff is good too, and he uses everything on here in a dramatic way. His choices are so fitting to each scene they are used in. What a weird, brilliant and deliciously twisted mind he has. This is the best.

Free Music Review: Awesome!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

After watching vol.1, I got into an obsession ^__^;; I immediately bought this soundtrack and am in looooove with it! all the songs in the movie were perfect for the scenes and the songs themselves are really impressive! I've watched vol.2 but am still trying to find enough money to buy it U__U...

for the question of where the flower of carnage is played...it's towards the end. right after The Bride kills O-ren (she goes and sits on that bench).

Free Music Review: Excellent
Hit: 5 Stars

I'll make this quick, excellent soundtrack..

I just wanted to point out that the track called "Super 16" is an excerpt from track of the same name by a '70s German rock band called Neu!. I'm assuming Tarantino used it in "Kill Bill" because it was used in the soundtrack to "Master of the Flying Guillotine", a great martial arts film. It was the theme music whenever the "Master" appeared in the film.

Free Music Review: Soundtrack for a Fight
Hit: 5 Stars

If you've seen the movie and enjoyed it for the revenge/action flick it is, then the soundtrack will not disappoint. I love mix of music genres, it's kind of a mix between old western gun fight music (tumbleweeds blowing between gunfighters), then combine that with japanese drums (samurai duels) and then throw in some blacksploitation funk in the background. Different... yes... but it definitely gets your heart beating, and feet tapping

Free Music Review: It does the awesome movie justice!
Hit: 5 Stars

The soundtrack is nothing less than you would expect from the movie. The style is eclectic, ranging from the 5, 6, 7, 8s (50s style surf music in Japanese) two Nancy Sinatra. The cd also includes to monlogues. First when O-Ren Ishii speaks to her council, and another from the Bride to Sophie Fatale. The last few tracks are sound effects from the movie such as swordfights. An excellent cd that anyone with an eclectic style can appreciate.
