I really like Oasis, but I felt like they had lost their way. After Be Here Now I began to believe that Oasis was comfortable with a CD that had one or two really good songs and a bunch of mediocre material to fill in the gaps. This album is amazing. Shock of Lightning. Bag it Up. The Turning. I'm Outta Time. High Horse...all of it... Some great work here. Rolling Stone bashed it, sounds like there listening'ta too much Radiohead. But, yeah, Dig Out Your Soul, brothers and sisters, is where it's at. It's rock and roll. It's groovin'. I picked up this disc the other day and have listened to it at least five times now. It's simply a great listen. I like every song on this disc but really like "I'm Outta Time," "(Get Off Your) High Horse Lady," and "To Be Where There's Life."
"To Be..." is best when listened to LOUD.
Good stuff.
