I have the Beauty and The Beast soundtrack on cassette and was so glad to see it re-released on CD. This is one of the most beautiful soundtracks out there, especially if you loved the TV series. Just listening to Ron Perlman recite poetry as Vincent makes all your worries disappear and relaxes you. Listening to it just makes you fall in love with the series all over again and it remindes me of how much I miss Catherine and Vincent's love affair. I didn't realize there was a CD out of the 'Beauty and The Beast' television series until I saw someone mention it in a review of the series. Once I saw that it was available on Amazon, I purchased it along with the DVD series. It's wonderful! I love listening to Ron Perlman recite the poetry and the music is beautiful! You are transformed back to their world! If you have the DVD series, you must have the CD! They are meant to be together, just like Catherine and Vincent!Free Music Review: FINALLY AFTER 20 YEARS!

Hi all, if you loved the series Beauty and the Beast - then i dont have to convince you to buy this CD .I wore out the cassette tape version of this one years ago and i had serched ebay and they were HIGH. So one day i just happened to search Amazon and there it was. Beautiful poetry sent to dream-like music = just heaven. A must buy! I have fallen asleep to this in my walkman many a time - you know - before ipods came about = ) Just beautiful and a great price too.!!Free Music Review: It's like the American Express of my CDs.

Much like the series itself, I absolutely refuse to leave home without it. Simply put, each and every track is pure magic. Classical music interspersed with the awe-inspiring voice of Vincent as he reads poetry (some found in the show and others not) is the ultimate in relaxation for me. Of course, there is also the lovely theme song "The First Time I Loved Forever," which never fails to make me drift off on a happy Vincent-and-Catherine cloud. Ron Perlman has such a wonderful calming voice. I love to listen to it and this CD is great. When I take my "me" time from the kids and other duties...lol, I put my head phones on and turn the CD on and drift away. I love this time just to listen to all the beautiful poetry and soothing music. It really is a great CD. It was delivered in the time promised and in brand new condition as stated. Overall I'm very satisfied with the product and service. 5 stars!!!!
