I wish I had discovered this soundtrack years ago! It really made me remember the very unique onscreen magic of Ron Perlman and Linda Hamilton in the Beauty and the Beast television series. What a wonderful show that (of course) ended too soon!
The soundtrack has lovely and soothing compositions and when combined with Ron Perlman reciting excerpts from beautiful poems, it truly is magical.

I never owned the tape version and stumbled across the cd by chance. I'm a fan of the show, newly rediscovered since childhood. While it's not something I would ordinarily buy, I'm so glad I took the chance. The music and poetry are beautiful, magical. And it's great to listen to when you're missing the magic of the tv series. Simply takes you back. Beautiful.

I've had this on cassette tape for years and have always loved it. The poetry is lovely in the extreme--as are the readings by Mr Perlman. He has such a beautiful speaking voice that it really adds to the beauty of the classical poetry. Of course it all ties in perfectly with the Beauty and the Beast series that he was involved with in the
80s. Very highly recommended!

I must listen to this at least once a day. I never get tired of it. The music, poetry and Vincent. What else does one need. Anyone who loved the TV show must buy this CD. I actually have the original record album that was produced in 1989 but I bought the CD also. I think I could listen to Vincent read anything. He has such a beautiful voice. Thank you Ron Perlman.
