Free Music Notes for Office Space: The Motion Picture SoundtrackFree Music Review: Take this Job and SHOVE 5 Stars
i dont really buy soundtracks that much, but since Office Space is my all time favorite movie I couldn't resist.. This is without question the best soundtrack ever- yes, it is rap,, but it's all GOOD rap- it's all early 90s stuff like The Ghetto Boys and NWA, REAL rap, none of this Jay Z/Ja Rule crap. Now i can play the fun songs of the movie whenever I want- when I'm stuck in traffic, "I Got this Killer Up Inside of Me", when I get angry at my printer, "Die Motherf--kers Die!", when I feel like not caring, "Damn It Feels Good to Be A Gangster", and of course, nothing beats the classic "Take This Job and Shove It! (I ain't workin here no more)" BEST soundtrack ever to the BEST movie ever- If you could just go ahead,, and buy this soundtrack along with the movie,, that would be greeeeaaat, mmm kay?
Free Music Review: Damn it feels good to be a gangsta Hit: 5 Stars
People buy movie soundtracks for one of two reasons: the liked the movie, or they liked a song or two they heard in the said movie they liked. This is a rare gem, for me, in that it was a movie that I absolutely loved but as I detest rap music I bought it anyway just to experience the movie again.
There is something very funny about a couple of white boys from the suburbs listening to rap / hip hop / gangsta rap and they don't have the slightest clue what life in the hood is like. I have no idea what it's like! I'm a white girl from the suburbs and I have no idea! But as they were a bunch of happy, bumbling fools whose only violent act was beating senseless a fax machine, there was something so funny about them listening to the Ghetto Boys and Ice Cube. Damn, it does feel good to be a gangsta...
Free Music Review: Just as good as the movie - and that's saying a lot!! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm not really a hip-hop fan, but when I listen to Ice Cube's "Down for Whatever", I get a case of the giggles thinking of the characters in the movie smashing a laser printer to bits. The R&B remake of "9 to 5" is terrific, and "Shove This J-O-B" is a great song to listen to after a grueling day in the cubicle. Oh, and the two mambo numbers at the end are really cool. Practically every song on this album brings back a memory of a funny scene from the movie - and there were plenty of 'em!
Free Music Review: Perfect soundtrack for the drive to work... Hit: 5 Stars
I have to agree with a woman who called this a "guilty pleasure" and said she listens to it on the way to work. This soundtrack has become my anthem especially when I've had a rotten day in the world of corporate media. I think the reworking of "Take this Job and Shove It" is hilarious; "Damn It Feels Good to Be a Gangsta" is just classic. This movie and this soundtrack are both classics. For both fans of gangsta oldschool rap, and those of us chained to a desk when we deserve better...
Free Music Review: Damn It Feels GOOD! Hit: 5 Stars
This soundtrack is amazing. Why? The best soundtracks can make you recall the exact scene they were playing behind, and even though these songs are so seemingly detached from this movie, every song will make you go "Oh yeah!"And the best track of course is "Damn It Feels Good To Be A Gangsta" by the Geto Boys. I can't help feeling like life would be SO much better if "Gangsta" was always playing in the YEA-aaah...... (Bill Lumberg-style)
