Free Music Notes for Rise & Fall, Rage & GraceFree Music Review: THE OFFSPRING return wiht a solid cd! Hit: 5 Stars
I'm a bit biased as my brother went to school with a couple of the members and I buy all things OFSPRING...but this cd is a return to glory for the So Cal punks.
I'm not much of a "punk" fan...I lean more towards metal but I have always had an affinity for this band simply beacuse of the way they capture the Orange County, California sound and vibe...some may hate it...most dig it.
This cd has a bunch of quick, uptempo numbers as well as some thoughtful lyrics...put together by a band that just plain rocks.
Definitely worth the 4 1/2 year wait.
Free Music Review: Very Solid Album Hit: 5 Stars
First of all, Finally! I've been waiting for this album for a while now. Rise and fall Rage and Grace is a good solid album that has a more serious tone to it. You don't hear about pranksters or wannabe's in this album, and though I loved those old Offspring songs, it's refreshing. It shows that they have matured with age and have done the same with their sound. It's not Smash or Ixnay, but it's pretty close, which is why I give it a 4 1/2.
Free Music Review: You're Gonna Go Far kid Hit: 5 Stars
This cd is awesome. I own all of the Offspring's cds and I felt that this cd really just brought back my old feelings for the Offspring, when I first became a fan back when Smash came out. I like the fact that they are really trying some different sounds and have some more diversity to their music. Unfortunately, I am in Afghanistan but hopefully I can make a concert of theirs for this cd when I get home.
Great CD!

Free Music Review: This is The Offspring and has been for a long time Hit: 5 Stars
I just dont get it!! Still people comment on The Offspring:
'They've Changed' 'SELL OUT' 'Sounds Like linkin Park?' Huh?
The Offspring have produced more Songs in their current style than they did when they were creating mainstream punk.
Americana. Conspiracy of one. Splinter. And this.
This is The Offspring, Dont like it? Go Somewhere Else.
Free Music Review: Excellent Album, Too Long in the Making Hit: 5 Stars
The only beef I have with this album is how long it took to finally get here. Like most Offspring listeners, I've been on board since day one. With most of their older albums, I can easily listen from the beginning to the end. This album follows suit, bringing some new stuff to the table.
Highly recommended to anyone wishing to expand their Offspring collection.
