I've seen the Old 97s play four or five times, most recently in Fort Worth. The next day we ran into Murray at brunch, and he actually came over to chat with us. Most of my friends in New York have become quiet fanatical about the band, as well, having heard this album. I'm eagerly awaiting their January show at Mercury Lounge and their the release of their fourth album in March.
