I was not a huge fan but always liked Olivia Newton John.
However, to me, now, this seems to have every hit of hers I can think of that I would want in a collection.
It's really great.
There are songs I never heard before, as well as many familiar favorites, that are very welcome.
Perhaps some people would want a 7-cd anthology, but for me this 2-cd set spans the hits well enough; and has everyone I would want.
It really seems great to me.

all i wanted was the "rare" "FOOL / Country Medley" song, and it was worth it, i made my own full mixes of each song, they are now sounding like 1 full song , each, you would never know i edited them, they sound awsum the way i mastered them on my studio program. i have waited forever to hear the full version to these songs, to only find out they were only recorded in part, theres also other awsum songs in hear i didnt have on cd yet, or in any other albumFree Music Review: Best Best OF!

As someone who owns 7 of her pre-Grease lps and 45s of Suddenly and Magic w/ the rare Fool Country B-Side I can say that they truely picked the best of her best. The only songs I would have added would be her non-hit "Marshmellow Song" from 1974's "If You Love ME.." and the Beach Boys remake of "God Only Knows" from 1975's "Clearly Love". Their omission of her only truely bad song "He Ain't Heavy..." more than made up for it.Free Music Review: Good hits compilation.

I have had ONJ 20th Century Masters for a few years. While that CD had some good hits, there was alot missing. I saw the track listing on GOLD and knew that I had to have it. This is probably the best way currently to get ONJ hits without getting the individual CD's. When I first saw Olivia Newton-John in the early 70's,my heart almost broke.I never saw a more beutifull women,and when I heard her voice,she HAD ME,I was a fan.
I love this collection of Hits,there's only one song that I wish was included,her duet with John Denver,"Fly Away,"but I guess it wasn't that big of a hit.
I hope we hear more from this STILL TALENTED BEUTIFULL STAR!!!
