As a part of the Buena Vista Social Club music series, this recording is remarkable. "La sitiera", "¿Dónde estabas tu?" and "Veinte años" are impossible to fogert once you have heard them. I had heard her on the Vista Social club Video. She is wonderful and even better focused by herself. She is backed by the other social club members. She is able to stand on her own. Since I was first introduced to the jewels of Cuba's past, I have craved more and more of this wonderful music. Omara's solo CD does not dissapoint, her voice is beautiful and the orchestrations are superb. Ms. Portuondo is The Diva! She has proven again that she is a world class singer, I just can't get enough of her. In my fantasies, if I were a singer, I'd want to sing just like her. I hope she continues recording many more albums. I want to buy all her albums. Please make them available.
