I am a huge fan of NSync but I haven't yet seen On the Line. Ya know with school and all. But I decided to buy the soundtrack and I got what I wanted and more.1. On the Line-The On The Line All-Stars: It's catchy and a great song. 2. That Girl Will Never Be Mine-NSync: WOW! This song is awesome! 3. Under You- Trickside: If you go on the offical webside: ... you can make a music video with this song on it. It's a cool song. 4. Don't Look Down-BBMak: I like BBMak and this song but...it doesn't sound like them! 5. Let's Get Together-Al Green: It's a good song but the voice kinda annoys me' 6. Let Me Be- Britney Spears: It's an annoying song yet...okay/cool song. And though I like NSync, doesn't mean I "LOVE" Justin. Free Music Review: ONE OF THE BEST SOUNDTRACKS I'VE HEARD! Hit: 5 Stars
This is one of the best soundtracks I've heard. I usually hate soundtracks but with this one, it's an exception. The songs rocks! Here's why:'On the Line'-this song is so catchable! It's my favorite! 'That Girl (Will Never Be Mine)'-the beat sounds like 'Game is Over' from Celebrity 'Under You'-I dissaprove of the lyrics but it's a pretty cool song 'Don't Look Down'-this song doesn't sound like BBMAK-that's why I don't like this song 'Let's Stay Together'-the singer's voice annoys me but I LOVE THE BEAT! 'Let Me Be'-this song doesn't sound like Britney-YES! I like this song! 'Falling'-another sweet song by *NSYNC. 'Do You C What I C?'-doesn't sound like Vitamin C but this song is still good 'Ready to Fall'-Joey Fatone is the smartest NSYNCer--he's actually getting away from NSYNC (for one song anyway)! Joey, Lance, and Chris deserve to sing but Justin and J.C. won't let them. Joey found a way around that-record a song solo but stay with NSYNC. I would've preferred Joey singing one song solo and then not going back with NSYNC. Oh, well! At least I got to hear him sing! 'To Be Able To Love'-this is a good radio mix! It's so dancable! 'My Hit Song'-as you can tell from the title, it's her 'Hit Song' 'Say You'll Walk the Distance'-slow song 'Take Me On'-HIS VOICE IS SEXY/HOT! He sounds like Ricky Martin 'Can't Trust Myself'-another slow song, but with emotion 'Ready to Fall'-Meredith Edwards is good--that's something I didn't think she would be Anyway, point of review: GET IT!
Free Music Review: Calm down and just enjoy it! Hit: 5 Stars
If you really love music and singing you will enjoy a large portion of this soundtrack. If you are embroiled in the "anti-pop" movement- especially "anti-'Nsync" than it isn't for you unless you stop trying to be cool and aloof and just give it a listen. These songs are primarily about unrequited love and alot of people think this is sappy. I have discovered Meredith Edwards- she has a truly beautiful voice, she sings the last track here. Joey Fatone sings another version on this soundtrack,It's pretty good. I bought this CD because I am an 'Nsync fan and there are some new songs by them. "That girl" feels like a retread of "Bye Bye Bye", but "Falling" is great and we get to hear the underrated Chris a little more. Some of the females songs are vapid and meaningless, with the exception of Meredith. As a whole, I don't believe it should be dismissed because it's pop;there are alot of talented young singers on this disc. So just relax and realize that music doesn't always have to be about how crummy life is in order to be relevant. That's my opinion anyway.
Free Music Review: Okay, why the heck to people buy the CD if they hate NSync? Hit: 5 Stars
Okay, so you all better know that Lance and Joey are in the movie and members of NSync. But if you dis-like or hate NSync, why did you bother to buy the CD and see the movie if you did? There are only TWO (underline underline) songs on the CD that NSync sings. Lance and Joey sing one with Christain from BBMak, Mandy Moore and True Vibe. If you only got it cause of Britney Spears etc...then you have just wasted your money. I bought this CD because I heard the music and LIKED it. One reviewer gave most songs 0/10. That confuses me. The movie is as great as the soundtrack. No I know that I'll probably have a 0/10 helpful votes but that's okay I won't whine. The CD is amazing. I listen to it everyday. Because of this CD, I am a new fan of Meredith Edwards who has an amazing voice and great talent. Joey sings the same song as her and both versions are awesome. If you're planning on buying this CD, look at the songs that are listed above. If you don't like 1 artist that's okay, but if you dislike more than at least 3 artists, then don't get this CD. Otherwise, this CD was worth my money.
Free Music Review: Awesome Soundtrack Hit: 5 Stars
This is a great soundtrack, especially if you like pop music. The title track is extremely fun and catchy; I find myself singing it all the time. Other favorites are "Falling", an absolutely beautiful ballad by *NSYNC, and "Don't Look Down" by BBMak. "That Girl (Will Never Be Mine)" is catchy, too, and has a distinctly 'No Strings Attached' type sound to it. If you like the NSA CD, you'll like this track. Al Green's classic "Let's Stay Together" has a new uptempo disco sound to it, and although purists might say 'why mess with a classic', the answer is because it's been modernized in a way that really fits with the movie. Robyn and Blaque added some nice contributions, and Richie Sambora's "Take Me On" adds a slight rock beat. There are a couple of tracks that I could have done without - Vitamin C, for instance - but overall this is a great soundtrack, one that hasn't left my CD player since I bought it. If you're a fan of *NSYNC, or pop music in general, I don't believe you'll be disappointed with this CD.
