Free Music Notes for On the LineFree Music Review: A definite Suprise! Hit: 4 Stars
When I saw the movie, it didn't seem to impress me. (That's not saying much looking at who starred in it. Didn't she get her head sliced off in "Wrong Turn?") But what did impress me were the songs in the movie! They are pop perfection!
1. ON THE LINE/ On The Line All Stars - Great pop song! Finally Joey and Lance get a chance to let their vocals shine with collaborations from Mandy Moore and Christian Burns from BBMak! (9/10)
2. THAT GIRL (WILL NEVER BE MINE)/ *NSync - One of their best pop songs! Should have been released as one of their singles, but I am glad it is on here! (9/10)
3. UNDER YOU/ Trickside - WHATEVER HAPPENED TO THESE GUYS! This song is so awesome! It has a rock pop vibe to it and it is so catchy! (10/10)
4. DON'T LOOK DOWN/ BBMak - A nice mellow track from BBMak. A little dull at times, but still nice. (7/10)
5. LET'S STAY TOGETHER/ Al Green - This sounds like some kind of 60's/70's song. I usually skip it. (5/10)
6. LET ME BE/ Britney Spears - I have to admit, this song is extremely catchy! It has like an eastern vibe to it. Very good! (9/10)
7. FALLING/ *Nsync - Compared to That Girl, this song is lukewarm. This is not one of their best ballads. (6/10)
8. DO YOU C WHAT I C?/ Vitamin C - Ugh. This song sounds so cheery it just makes me want to jump off a cliff! Cheap music, cheap lyrics! (3/10)
9. READY TO FALL/ Joey Fatone - This song is great! Joey definately needs to go solo. It has a mellow rock tune to it. I can listen to it all the time! (10/10)
10. TO BE ABLE TO LOVE/ Jessica Folker - MY PERSONAL FAVORITE! She is just awesome! Sweden at its finest. The beat is so great and her vocals just add the icing to the cake! DEFINATE REPEAT MATERIAL! (11/10)
11. MY HIT SONG/ Melissa Lefton - Nice song. Very interesting lyrics to go with the upbeat music. (9/10)
12. SAY YOU'LL WALK THE DISTANCE/ Robyn - YES I WILL! This song is fantastic! Why the U.S. ever turned the other way on this singer I will never know! She is phenomenal! Another great talent from Sweden! (11/10)
13. TAKE ME ON/ Richie Sambora - ANOTHER GREAT POP TRACK! I didn't know who Richie Sambora was until this song and I am glad I picked it up! He is a great act! (10/10)
14. CAN'T TRUST MYSELF/ Blaque - I used to be a fan of Blaque until I heard this song. Dull and uninspiring. (5/10)
15. READY TO FALL/ Meredith Edwards - Joey's version of this song is so much better. Skip this. (6/10)
A definate surprise and definate treat for the ears!
Free Music Review: Cute fun album Hit: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this album. Most of the songs are pop songs and clearly the best are from my favorite group *NSYNC. "That Girl(Will Never Be Mine)" is a really fun uptempo song with a good beat. "Falling" is a beautiful ballad written by Chris from *NSYNC, the vocals are simply amazing. Joey from the group also has his first solo on "Ready To Fall," and he sounds great. The same song by Meredith Edwards is also cute with a more country feel to it. The title track is a little cheesy, but cute nevertheless. Soul legend Al Green does a remake of his classic "Let's Stay Together," which is a fun thing to hear. And Ritchie Sambora has an incredible song called "Take Me On," which any Bon Jovi fan would enjoy. I only gave it four stars because some of the songs namely by Britney Spears and Vitamin C aren't as good as the ones I've mentioned. Overall, this is a cute fun album that definitely worth a try.
Free Music Review: Megan Hit: 4 Stars
I just got this yesterday, the day it came out. I think it's a really great CD. The song 'On The Line' is personally one of my faves. 'N Sync's two new songs 'That Girl (Will Never Be Mine)' and 'Falling' are also very good songs. I already got the two songs from the internet about three months ago and was disappointed that they were the only 'N Sync songs on the CD. Al Green's remix of his classic hit 'Let's Stay Together' is a really good feel-good song, in my opinion. Britney's song 'Let Me Be' is a good song too. Joey Fatone's solo song 'Ready To Fall' is my favorite song on the soundtrack. He has such a good voice and that really shows in this song. Meredith Edwards, who opened for 'N Sync on their recent tour, also has a version of 'Ready To Fall' on this soundtrack. Trickside's 'Under You' is an awesome song and I love it. All in all, it's worth the money if your an 'N Sync fan.
Free Music Review: This is a great album for fans of all types of music! Hit: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this album. It's got two great new songs by Nsync and the title song is very catchy. I love it also that such a wide range of artists are included on the album, like BBMak, Britney, Al Green and even the Christan band True Vibe. Joey Fatone's solo song, Ready To Fall, blew me away! What a great chance to hear is "real" voice, out from behind the Nsync harmonies (which are also great, as always). However, as the album goes along, the artists are unrecognizable and the songs don't stick with you as much. But Meredith Edward's country version of "Ready to Fall" makes up for the wait. I recommend this CD to all Nsync fans who want to broaden thier musical tastes!
Free Music Review: Good assortment of music Hit: 4 Stars
The "On the Line" soundtrack is a definite must-have for NSync fans since it's not only from the movie featuring two guys from the group, but it also has two never-before-released songs from the group. In addition, the album contains music by other pop stars like Britney Spears and BB Mak. There's also a little country thrown in the the final song "Ready to Fall" sung by Meredith Edwards. Overall, the CD has a variety of musical genres respresented, but most of the songs are definitely love-oriented. There is a great mixture of tempo in that some songs are slow and romantic while others are upbeat and fun. Definitely a good buy though!!
