Free Music Notes for Once

Free Music Review: Heartfelt music, all-out performance
Hit: 5 Stars

If you love heartfelt music banged out on a guitar, you'll be smilin' as you listen to this CD. Your experience would likely be enhanced if you see the movie beforehand however. Characters are real people singing songs of true emotion; here there's no posing for appropriate angles or affectations.

Free Music Review: Soundtrack From The Movie Once
Hit: 5 Stars

Glen Hansard and Marketa Inglova wrote most of the music from the soundtrack.
The style of it defies putting it into one genre. It of course includes Irish folk music, but every track is FANTASTIC!!
The last time I loved an entire album was any ABBA album.

I'm sure that everybody will at least love a few tracks from Once.

P.S. I received a damaged cover and with Amason's usual excellent service I had a replacement in 7 days.

Free Music Review: Perfection
Hit: 5 Stars

It's hard to describe, but this music has revealed something about people and relationships that hasn't been previously done. The song "Falling Slowly" is a fantastic example of this, and true poetry. Both the movie "Once" and it's soundtrack are beautiful; it made my year to see film that could accomplish what this one did.

Free Music Review: Very good movie
Hit: 4 Stars

This was a very nice movie. Touching & moving. It's nice to see good independent films and feel as if you've discovered something. The soundtrack was exceptionally good~

Free Music Review: Falling Slowly the Most Beautiful Song Ever Written
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD should be given six stars - after seeing the movie not only did I run out and buy this CD I bought as many of the Frames CD's as I could get my hands on. There have been very few times that I have heard songs that blew me away on hearing them for the first time. Start with this soundtrack and then move on to the Frames's CD's . By the way, I am not a young 20 year-old lover of indie music. I grew up in the 70's and was weaned on the Stones and Beatles. This music moves me to tears.
