I do not care if others are being cynical about Barlow.
Nothing is important. You've got to listen to this debut album of Gary Barlow. When I picked up the headset at Virgin Megastore and started listening to this album, I had no clue of who Gary Barlow was. This is a very important point. How music moves and manipulates us can be very objective. The music from this debut album simply moved me the first time I listened to it. Track after track, the album surprised me with romantic tune like "Never Knew" and "Forever Love"... *Open Road", "Superhero", and "So Help Me Girl" are also worth the attention. Stop judging the artist based on what you hear or where he comes from. Follow your heart and listen to the music. You will not disappoint at this album.

Gary Barlow definitly has potential to make it as a solo musician.His first attempt "Open Road" has great promise in starting a new fan base.I purchased the album when it first came out and I was quite impressed with his attempt to make up for the lost voices of his former band mates of the super group Take That. Alot of his vocal talent was drowned out by the sometimes dull musical arrangements but he still has plenty of strength in that oh so sexy voice. He should of recieved more recognition for his single "Superhero" which I found to be one of the strongest songs on the record."Love Won't Wait" is another song that had strong potential,especially if a remix was created for clubs.Free Music Review: It's a pretty melodious CD.

Gary Barlow has done a nice job on this album. He certainly used his previous experiences with 'Take That' to try not to make any mistakes. The songs are melodious but can't be heard more than once or twice. The songs 'Love won't wait' and 'Forever Love'are pleasing to the ears. However, Barlow needs to write other type of love songs since most of the songs have the same meanings. For a person who looks for good melodies and only slow love songs, this album is a good buy.Free Music Review: Is Gary Barlow the most TALENTED person ever?

Gary Barlow INTENDS to make a HUGE comeback sometime in the near future. I SIMPLY can't wait!.......for the VIDEO....

This CD was very good. Many of the songs are strong. This man's songs should be big. His voice shifts attention back to men singers in our much female artist-dominated decade.
