Free Music Notes for My Arms, Your HearseFree Music Review: The 3rd Opeth extraction. Hit: 5 Stars
This cd is amazing! It's all that I would have expected from Opeth. It's dark, mysterious, and well written. Every song leads into the other, building up and up leaving you craving for more only to be fulfilled by the next song. I would recommend this cd to anyone who has a taste for well written music by excellent artists.
Free Music Review: Opeth at its best Hit: 5 Stars
The light sound of rain fades in, almost making you feel the stillness of the forest, and the cool drops that fall down around you. Light piano picks things up and leads into an explosion of Metal. This is Opeth at it's best and once again proves that Death Metal is like a fine wine, when done right.
Free Music Review: Spine-tinglingly beautiful Hit: 5 Stars
Heavy as hell, haunting as all get out. I haven't really -listented- to this album in a concerted fashion, but I know genius when I hear it. Between these guys and early In Flames, I truly believe that some of the most beautiful music of out times has been made by metal bands from Sweden.
Free Music Review: Opeth's Finest Hit: 5 Stars
No one could accuratly describe Opeth in words, therefore I won't. All I will say is that if you want to get into Opeth, this is a great album to do that with. It is a great representation of their skills and quite possibly their best to date. Give it a shot, you can't be disapointed.
Free Music Review: Third best! Hit: 5 Stars
"My arms, your hearse" is the third best of Opeth's albums. ("Blackwater park" and "Deliverance" is even better...) Mikael Aakerfeldt had a sore throat (or something) when he growled on this one - maybe that is why it sounds so great...! I love it.
