Free Music Review: TOBY IS BRILLIANT!!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I don't know how to write a reveiw but I will tell you how I feel straight from my heart! How often do you buy or even like a soundtrack before you see the movie. Usually you buy a soundtrack because you saw the movie. Not my case Because of the very limited market distribtuion I have been unable to see the movie. But I bought the soundtrack and are you kiddng me??? What incredible music!!! You can feel the emotion and feelings in every song! It was so exciting to listen to this dvd and know it is a sound track to a movie!! I can't wait to see it on CMT!!!!! This is an incredible cd!! I love the ballads!! Lindsey is absolutley incredible. And I was luckly enough to see her in concert w/Toby at Hershey Park It rained I mean poured the entire time but our family didn't care. And Lindsey was incredible!!!!! The first song Toby sang was "Big Bull Rider" Never heard it before and Toby was great!! And know listening to the song on "Broken Bridges" it is one of my favorites I am so happy Lindsey got this chance She is amazing!! And Oh Scotty "What's Up With That" is a great song!! I listen to it all the time!! i so missed Scotty at the concert!! I have seen him two times before w/Toby and he is awesome!! Love "What's Up With That!! The Trio w/ Willie, Bebe and Toby is great!! I think my favorite is "Zig Zag Stop" what an incredible song! Toby definitely takes is to the next level! So interesting what he does with this song! I mean really like said in the beginning, How is it possible that you buy a soundtrack and have never seen the movie! Only Toby could do this!! TOBY KEITH!!!!! Incredible talent!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!! INCREDIBLE MUSIC!!

Free Music Review: Talented Toby & Team
Hit: 5 Stars

The album begins with its title track "Broken Bridges" which blends together the two very different vocals of Lindsey Haun and Toby Keith. From this song alone, you can imagine that they make a very believable father/daughter pair in the movie.

Next, Fred Eaglesmith will have you toe tapping to "Thinking About You" just before you're crooning to Toby Keith's ballad "Crash Here Tonight".

Lindsey's powerful and hauntingly sweet voice will then have you wanting to help her pick up the pieces in "Broken", just before classic sound of Matraca Berg takes you "Along For the Ride".

Fan favorites Willie Nelson and BeBe Winans join in for banjo strumming in an "Uncloudy Day" followed by popular writer Scotty Emerick's questioning "What's Up with That?" and newcomer Flynnville Train takes you up "High on the Mountain".

Crooner Sonya Isaacs sends home a patriotic feeling with "Battlefield" which sounds like a beautiful blend of something between Amazing Grace and the Star-Spangled Banner, just before Toby's twanging melody "Can't Go Back", and Poor Richard's Hound soothes with the instrumental "The Waiting Game".

The album finishes with true thigh-slapping, boot stomping, Toby-style classics like "Big Bull Rider", "Zig-Zag Stop" and "Jackie Don Tucker".

There's a great variety of music here to suit all styles and tastes, and I highly recommend buying it! Unfortunately, due to the limited release of the movie (thanks Paramount >:() I have yet to see the film, but I'm sure that it will be one to treasure along with the musical accompaniment!!!

Free Music Review: Not Broken
Hit: 5 Stars

There is truly a word for this soundtrack and it's not Broken. That word would be "adventurous". Soundtracks are some of my favorite cd's. There is so much variety and they help me relive scenes from the movie. This cd "Broken Bridges" is by far one of my very favorites. It provides all that a "SOUNDTRACK" should. A great listen and memories of the movie. I enjoy listening to the many artists that are new to me, and very much enjoy the artists that I am more familiar with. Willie, Scotty, Vince Gill (backup), and as for Toby, well he has really outdone himself as an artist, as usual. Reaching out in many different directions with his vocal talents. With his unique voice and some new notes thrown in, Toby takes his music to a different zone all together. For instance, Zig Zag Stop.....has a strong rock sound to me, I had to do a double take at the cd cover to make sure it was actually Toby singing. PURE genius. My favorite song, not to be predictable, would have to be "Broken Bridges". This song will touch a number of lives individually. We all have or will have a broken bridge in our life, and at some point, it will need repairing. This song lets the listener know that they are not alone. Plus, I love duets, I get to sing the girl (in this case, the aspiring and inspiring, Lindsey Haun) part. Get it and ENJOY the adventure !!!!!

Free Music Review: A Rare Find
Hit: 5 Stars

I wasn't sure what to expect from the 'Broken Bridges' Soundtrack as I'd pretty much bought it for two songs; 'Broken Bridges' and 'Broken'. The rest of the soundtrack hadn't really stood out to me while watching the movie. But, from the first time I listened to it, I fell in love with it. Every song is catchy or great to listen to and there's a good mix of styles, from the ballady duet 'Broken Bridges' to the folk-style 'The Battlefield' that makes one think of misty green fields, to the high energy 'Big Bull Rider'. Any Toby Keith fan will not be disappointed as seven of the fourteen songs feature the country singer, four of them original to the soundtrack, although the final song, 'Jacky Don Tucker', originally from Keith's 'Dream Walkin'' album (1997), has been given a reworking. 'Broken Bridges' could be a stand alone album and one does not have to have seen or even liked the film for it to be enjoyed. It is fun, powerful, tear-jerking, toe-tapping, eclectic, and addictive (you will get some tunes stuck in your head). It's worth it even if only to hear the instrumental 'The Waiting Game' which is a beautiful piece of music. There are also photos from the film and enhanced content which I have yet to check out. 'Broken Bridges' is an exciting find and has become one of my favourite albums in the short time I've had it.

Free Music Review: Broken Bridges Is An Awesome Soundtrack
Hit: 5 Stars

Broken Bridges is the best soundtrack I have ever listened to. I absolutely love all of Toby's tracks. I have been to several Toby concerts this year and he opens the concerts with Big Bull Rider. That song rocks. Crash Here Tonight and Can't Go Back are beautiful songs. His voice just keeps getting better and better. Lindsey Haun's voice is so powerful on Broken and her duet with Toby on Broken Bridges, I have listened to over and over. Their voices together on that song sound magical to me. Uncloudy Day with Toby, Willie Nelson & Bebe Winans is great. It reminds me of the old gospel songs my grandmother used to listen to. I love High on the Mountain by Flynnville Train. I think they are going to be very successful in the future. I have always been a big fan of Scotty Emerick and his music. I think What's Up With That is a great song with a great beat. Scotty is a really talented singer/songwriter. I would highly recommend that you go out and buy the Broken Bridges soundtrack. You will sure be glad that you did. I bought two - one for the house and one for the car. This is a great cd to add to your collection. TKIFC-sweetdonna53
