I'm not one for soundtracks but this cd stands on it's own. Toby's duet with Lindsey is chilling. It is done so well you get goose bumps. Then you have the sincere songs and those that make you laugh. I love the whole cd. So many emotions go through you, you can't help but go with them on their journeys. As though they are part of your life too. The Big Dog did it again. Toby you never let your fans down. Thank you for one of the best cd's out there.
If your not sure you will enjoy country music or even say your not into country, you have to give this a try. You will see what all the talk is about and why so many people enjoy country. Music master (and now mogul) Toby Keith has topped all previous efforts with his release of the sound track to his film "Broken Bridges." Toby has made his selection of music and song for this CD seem effortless--everything blends perfectly. From his protege Lindsey Haun's beautiful ballads, to the rocking Zig Zag Stop and Jack Don Tucker, you never stop tapping your toe and singing along. Of course, to round out the music, Toby has chosen the best of the best....performers such as Willie Nelson, to complete the music for this film and CD by singing the gospel hit Uncloudy Day, and High On The Mountain by Flynnville Train...This CD will become a staple. Better buy two...you'll wear the first one out!!

Free Music Review: Wonderful soundtrack

Included on this album are tracks by country veterans and some new comers. "Uncloudy Day" features Willie Nelson, Toby Keith and BeBe Winnans and will be appreciated by long time country fans. Toby Keith doesn't disappoint with new music including "Zig Zag Stop" and some tunes from past albums including the gentle ballad, "Crash Here Tonight" and the fun "Jacky Don Tucker".
New comer Lindsey Haun shines with her song "Broken" and in the brilliant duet with Keith, "Broken Bridges". I'm sure we will be seeing more from Haun as she has been signed to Keith's ShowDog label and has been featured on his recent tour.
This is one soundtrack that shouldn't be missed.

Toby Keith has proven time and again his larger than life talents as both a singer and songwriter and now his record label scores again. This is a magnificient offering from Show Dog Nashville highlighting not only Toby's talent but that of a few friends and fellow artists to boot.From the beautiful harmony of Toby and Lindsey Haun on the opening track of Broken Bridges, to the spiritual Uncloudy Day with Toby, Willie and BeBe to the sensitive reflection of Can't Go Back to the rocking Big Bull Rider (Toby's trademark offering) to my personal favorite classic rock of Zig Zag Stop (Toby like we aren't used to hearing him) and reaching back to the spirited Jacky Don Tucker it is an album not to be missed! Every song on this soundtrack touched my heart one way or another. This was the best movie I believe I have ever seen on television. It touched my heart in so many ways. I love Toby Keith's music, lyrics and his whole attitude on life in his songs. This movie touched my heart b/c I have almost lived this same story with my own father but our ending didn't turn out to be so happy!! But I love the fact this movie was so realistic. People go through this everyday whether it be happiness or sadness but you never hear the details and there stories.If you haven't seen this movie then you need to.
