Of course, no one can redo a beatle's song. It's sacrilidge. But this is an nice remake. The cast and crew did a great job and the movie was fantastic.

I am a Beatles fan and I thoroughly enjoyed both the movie and the soundtrack. Several of the tracks seem like "unplugged" versions of classic Beatles songs. Others gained new life through rearrangement and the clear sweet vocals of Evan Rachel Wood.
Not every song is a home run - I wasn't very impressed with the Dana Fuchs tracks, but the album is definitely worth getting. My entire family has it on their favorites list.
