When I was a boy growin' up on the banks of the Scioto River, my Gramma used to have 1 solitary long playin' record. Have I got your attention? Good! The record was Alvin & the Chipmunks sing the Beatles. We listened to that record so many times that the record grooves got deeper than a Felini movie. Pardons me, "film".
Thusly, I sure am happy to get my hands on a new Chipmunks recording, albeit in the compact disc form. I can't help but be a little sad that they couldn't break out 'Love Me Do' just for old times sake. But that's the way the dice tumbles and the cookie crumbles, know what I'm sayin'?

Since I grew up with the Chipmunks, this was a fun CD for all of us. They sing some familiar "chipmuck" songs for us oldies and so new fun tunes for the kids.
