Such a warm, thoughtfully-considered soundtrack. Not only does it perfectly support the mood of the film (quirky, autumnal) but it stands well on its own as a great selection of songs. Like all the best soundtracks, older songs are nestled alongside new material, obscurities and music created specifically for the film. This is a great listen anytime - IMHO - but then I'm always a sucker for this sort of music (and this sort of film). Saw this movie this past weekend! Soo glad I did, it was SO good! I expected it to be corny like Napolean Dynamite but it was so the opposite. I honestly couldn't tell whether the songs were written for the movie or vice versa! It was THE BEST POSSIBLE soundtrack to go along with this movie. It created feelings that caused me to be completely immersed in the story. It was wonderful all around. Purchasing the soundtrack right now! I agree with the last review, try and watch the movie w/o wanting to go out and get the soundtrack, it's impossible!!!Free Music Review: Juno

The movie Juno was EXCELLENT! Ellen Page was terrific in it as were all the other actors! The soundtrack is just AWESOME! I knew as soon as I saw the movie I had to buy the soundtrack because being a child of the '60's myself I could definitely relate to the music! Kimya Dawson puts into words what I am thinking so well! "Loose Lips" was especially entertaining! I listened to the soundtrack the first time with my 29 yr old son and he also loved it! The movie and music really spans the generations! We need more movies like this!Free Music Review: We love it!!

We enjoyed the movie very much and realized also, that we really liked the music. I put the cd in when I want to get in a good mood. It can't always be played around little ones, though, because of language in a few of the songs, which includes the f word in one song.
All in all, it is a light hearted happy cd and if you liked the movie, you will love the it like we do. I do wish that the words were included though, because some of the songs move quickly, and we would like to be able to sing them all.

Juno Was A surprise hit at the box office not only did the movie score big with fans so did the soundtrack during the movie I could not help but realize the music was so engaging for the film, the only song i knew in the movie was buddy holly's dearest. After viewing the end credits to see the rest off the artist the were featured I thought i have to buy this cd's and i did off of amazon. It was the best purchase i have made so far this year.
I would highly recommend for people to buy this soundtrack.
