This soundtrack is the most moving, inspirational, creative, thrilling, F-U-N soundtrack I have listened to in years. We should get more quality music like this more often. HA to Disney...look at this.I loved the Prince of Egypt, i had hoped it wouldn't be too Disney-like and too off the real story, and when I saw they had rated it PG I was like "Wow." Then I saw the movie with my whole family and let me tell you it is the best animated movie EVER. It has the most emotion and quality I have seen in a long time. And finally a movie based on the Bible that doesn't blow Scripture to pieces! It was nearly perfect on the story line, at least as perfect as one can hope. What a great movie!

The Prince of Egypt film was wonderful, but I think that the music behind it was just as inspiring. Hans Zimmer has created another Oscar-worthy score that is brilliant and beautiful, and each and every song soars on its own.My personal favorites include "The Plagues," "Humanity," "Through Heaven's Eyes," and most of all, the film version of "When You Believe." Though these are my favorites, each and every song is unique and wonderful in its own way. "Deliver Us," for example is beautiful and a bit haunting, "Through Heaven's Eyes," though carried on the wonderful voice of Brian Stokes Mitchell, gives a spectacular message through a faster-paced and mesmerizing song.
This is one of the rarest and the best film soundtracks out there...this one is not to be missed at all. This is true beauty! Enjoy!

I don't think music has ever made me cry. Until now, that is. When I saw the movie I cried trough the whole beginning, because of Deliver Us (by amazing Ofra Haza, wow she's good...). I also cried in the scene where they leave egypt...because of the music. I thought When You Believe would be a terrible song, because I've only heard the version of Whitney&Mariah...but the version heard in the movie is sooo beautiful... Other songs like The Plagues and Through Heaven's Eyes are very good too. I was listening to the CD a few days ago, and I started crying in Deliver Us... Everybody should hear this music. It's so un-disneyish and it totally beats the crap out of all the other disney soundtracks (hands down)... actually it pretty much beats the crap out of ANY other soundtrack. So buy it. Or borrow. (or steal, i don't care)but you HAVE GOT TO HEAR THIS!!!Free Music Review: OFRA HAZA OFRA HAZA OFRA HAZA!

I don't normally refer to music as divine. This soundtrack does what all soundtracks should do. Transports the listener into the mind of the creator and in this case THE CREATOR. I've never heard such power from track one to track end. As someone said already - it moves to tears, to laughter and to dancing...and something beyond that..it moves the listener to such ecstasy that if the volume of glory were turned up one more decibel I think we'd blow apart.
This one is destined for an OSCAR - any music lover should add this to their collection. It is seamless. No need for the other two tracks. This is the one to buy.
I would have bought this track for the voice of Ofra Haza's "CRY" alone. I've known about her for years. It's time for everyone else to discover her too. Buy this CD EVERYBODY!
Free Music Review: My Most Listened to CD

I have so much love for this CD, it's a little embarrassing. The songs and music are so beautiful and captivating. My personal favorites are "Deliver Us" the movie version of "When You Believe" and "Burning Bush." The vocals are fabulous, and I think it's adorable when the children sing in "When You Believe." I listen to the singing tracks when I'm in a mood to be energized. However, the beautiful music in "Burning Bush" and "Red Sea" as well are excellent. I listen to this album almost every night before bed, not because it's boring, but because I find it very 'centering.' I am not a fan of the music included that was not from the moive, but it's not terrible, and it doesn't detract from the CD as a whole. A 5-star CD if there ever was one.
