Free Music Notes for The Prince Of Egypt: Music From The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Free Music Review: It doesn't get any better than this!
Hit: 5 Stars

This is an album not to be missed! Hans Zimmer's score is exciting, moving, and emotional all at once. There is a touch of his other scores here: "The Rock," "Crimson Tide," "Beyond Rangoon," and of course, "The Lion King." The songs by Stephen Schwartz are very impressive, melodic and dynamic, reminiscent of a first-rate Broadway musical. Just listen to the power of the orchestrations and the choirs on the score. Fans of pop music will appreciate the Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey duet of "When You Believe," although I actually prefer the film's version, featuring a surprisingly good performance by Michelle Pfeiffer (Who knew she could sing like that?). I enthusiastically recommend this album! It has something for everyone.

Free Music Review: I loved it sooooo much! still do.
Hit: 5 Stars

I love 'The Prince of Egypt' soundtrack! There's so much amazing music, all in one cd. My absolute faves are Humanity, When You Believe and Deliver Us. Humanity is an amazing track about racism, and mixing the blacks with whites, Jews with you know. It's a powerful song about ending racism of any kind, and coming together. When You Believe has such strong vocals, it's just amazing. Deliver Us talks about the work that slaves went through, and it kinda makes u think. I also think that All I Ever Wanted is a cool track as well. This album is defiantly worth getting, if you loved the movie. Even if your not religious, its still a lot of fun to listen to think and to sing along. The lyrics and music are speechless, seriously. If I could, I'd buy a million copies of this cd.

Free Music Review: My favorite movie soundtrack- simply excellent!
Hit: 5 Stars

When I first saw "The Prince of Egypt" in theaters, I was astounded. Mainly because of the music. The movie was good, but the soundtrack is simply breathtaking. I have long been a fan of Egptian music, and also the beautiful voice of Ofra Haza, and this CD unites so many of my favorites into onespectracular tribute to the Jewish holiday of Passover.

My favorite tracks are 2,3,7,10,12, and 14.
However, all of the songs on this CD (with the exception of the hip-hop and pop ones) are excellent.

Also, I host an Passover party every year for my friends- both Jewish and Christian. This year, we're going to be watching "The Prince of Egypt". I told several of my friends, and immediately they told me that the movie "has the coolest soundtrack". ; D

Free Music Review: Very Powerful, Fits the Movie
Hit: 5 Stars

I won't write a really long review here, but in short, this soundtrack was SIMPLY AMAZING and perfect for this movie. I will state that this is the most expensive animated movie
ever made, and if you keep that in mind while you watch, the soundtrack seems even bigger-I don't have any idea why.
Or, you can just remember that as trivia. I don't care. I fully plan on getting this CD, and I hope you enjoy it, too.

PS- My favorite score track on this CD is "The Burning Bush"-it's simply breathtaking, makes you feel the presence of God as you watch. (Please don't be offended if you're not Hebrew.) I also found this movie satisfactorily close to the Bible, I have no real complaints about that. YOU SHOULD GET THIS SOUNDTRACK!

Free Music Review: not available
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD has been unavailable for too long. It is a masterpiece that should not be shelved. If it is a legal matter, eg. contractual agreements with the artists, please resolve with haste.Music lovers are suffering tremendously because of reasons that I refuse to understand. Would you stop publishing the Star Spangled Banner or any of Bach and Mozart? This CD is truly desired and will never grow old. I thought industry was about making money, what happened? More importantly, I don't care what happened, get the CD back on the market. It is a true classic, a marvelous collection of voices praising our Father, that transcends the movie itself. The movie tells the story, the music gives it color, depth, and feeling. Bring the music back, please.
