Free Music Notes for Osmondmania: Osmond Family Greatest HitsFree Music Review: A Little Nostolgia? Hit: 4 Stars
If you were a teenage girl during the 70's and are looking for music that brings back those feelings of fun, this is the album for you. My sister was a huge fan of these kids and when I saw this CD I just knew that she would love it. I got it for her Birthday and she went nuts. She remembered every line of every song. It was a great gift for her.
Free Music Review: When..... Hit: 3 Stars
When will we get a cd compilation of songs that includes album cuts and rarities? Donny made a wonderful album in 1978 called "Donald Clark Osmond" that is not on cd, and no cuts have ever been released on compilations such as this. The songs on this cd are wonderful in their own right, but we all have these. What about "This is the Way That I Feel" by Marie? Not only is the song wonderful but the album had many, many beautiful songs on it! The Osmond Brothers made an album, I think in 1980 called "Steppin Out" where are songs from that album? Their catalog is way deep and needs to be represented on cd! Ok, here I go, these are songs that I think should be on the next compilation. I'm interested in knowing if anybody else feels this way! 1. Winning Combination - Donny & Marie (from "Winning Combination") 2. I Can't Stand It - Donny (from "Donald Clark Osmond") 3. Check it Out - The Osmonds (from "Brainstorm") 4. Emily - The Osmonds (from "Steppin Out") 5. Certified Honey - Donny & Marie (b-side of "On the Shelf") 6. Didn't I Love You Boy? - Marie (from "This is the way....") 7. Old Man Auctioneer - Donny (from "Disco Train") 8. A Bad Case of You - Marie (single released in 1982 on Elektra) 9. I, I, I - The Osmonds (from "Steppin Out") 10. Together - Donny & Marie (from "Make the World Go Awy") 11. The More I Live, The More I Love - Donny (from Donald Clark Osmond)

If you want a good representation of most of the real Osmond hits, including Donnie, Marie, Donny & Marie, and the whole set of brothers, they're here; however, I'd like to have seen 'Long Haired Lover from Liverpool' by Little Jimmie; although it only hit number 38 on billboard, it was a #1 record in the UK.
Free Music Review: SOMEWHAT DISAPPOINTING Hit: 3 Stars
THE CD ON THE WHOLE WAS FAIRLY GOOD==BUT SOME OF THE SONGS DID NOT SOUND LIKE THE ORIGINALS (ie. Donny's voice was not high enough and the familiar "tone" of the original is non-existent)SOMEWHAT OF A DISSAPOINTMENT=too bad!!!
Free Music Review: Nothing new. An "F" for Originality. Hit: 1 Stars
Being an Osmond fan can be very frustrating at times... This CD has nothing new to offer. There have been several Osmond compilation CDs in the past 10 years. What's so different about this one besides the photograph on the cover? Nothing. I agree with the reviewer who wishes the Osmonds would put some of their old albums on CD instead of putting out hit compilation CDs all the time. Been there. Done that. Bored to tears.
