Free Music Review: Bad timing
Hit: 5 Stars

It took me a while to let Pretty. Odd. grow on me, and still some songs just don't do it. Their debut album was perfect, and this just wasn't what I was expecting. I think that people would have accepted this album with a lot more love if it had come out a year ago, before Across the Universe. The whole Beatles vibe had been done for the year, and that's a shame because this is a great album. Better timing could have gotten them a lot more kudos, but still a great album!

Free Music Review: Please. This is genius.
Hit: 5 Stars

I think it's funny how other reviewers have said Panic's first album is the original one when it was criticized by so many for sounding exactly like Fallout Boy and being uninspired. Pretty Odd is one of the biggest improvements between a first and second album that I have ever heard. Panic went from a copycat, decent, unoriginal band to an extremely mature, intelligent and talent-laden one. Pretty Odd pays homage to Panic's muses and does it with style.

Free Music Review: AWESOME album!!!
Hit: 5 Stars

I know that this album is pretty unexpected for all you hardcore Panic fans...but it's fan-frickin-tastic! It's got a kind of retro feel. The guitar riffs are extremely catchy and the horn section fits quite nicely. It's very Beatles-esque. I have been a fan of Panic for a long time and even though in this album they divert from their signature style, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised :)

Free Music Review: Pretty Sweet!
Hit: 5 Stars

I was worried about this album...I had heard so many cries of a third rate, wannabee-Beatles rip off, but instead I got an inspired, well written album. (Although the boys seem to have a strange fascination with the sun and the moon...) I really dig all of the orchestral and horn elements. It's a very pleasant surprise and I would reccomend it to all...even if you didn't like their first album.

Free Music Review: Pleasantly. Different. But next time bring back the !
Hit: 5 Stars

When I preordered this item I was pumped, especially since they said the Beatles were their inspiration. This album was very different from their first, but I welcomed it. The tunes definatlely sound like they were inspred by the Beatles but since nobody can ever outdo the Beatles it falls somewhat short. Though this album is enjoyable, I prefer their first. This album deserves to be heard.
