Papa Roach's Getting Away With Murder. What else can I say? They KILLED THE COMPETITION coming out on this day. Best Buy online sold out of their copies. I woulda bought the entire store if i could. The flavor is truley satisfying. It's new in regards to what P roach usually brings to the table, but isn't that their forte? Last Resort to LHT to GAWM has been an infestation and a revolution. These guys have grown and I am glad to have grown with them. There is a taste of each album on GAWM. A little rap here and there, but overall just great vocals by Coby on this one, truley, he has an amazing voice. And his voice and words that he speaks truley inspire me on a day~to~day basis. And lets not forget Jerry, Tobin, and Dave. These guys are all as much to blame for this great album as Coby ;)...Besides the main song, GAWM, the other 11 are all their own. There is no one song that reminds me of the song before. Each has its own identity. Each can help me get through a different situation in life. Thank You P~Roach.

Free Music Review: Papa Roach's CD ROCKS!

First of all I just wanna say that Jacoby's voice is awesome in every single song! Here's my ratings for each song:
Blood- 10/10 An excellent start for the CD, one of my favorites. Guitar is great in it.
Not Listening- 7/10 I personally don't like this song, its kinda annoying to me, but its a good song, but I hate the chorus.
Stop Looking/Start Seeing- 10/10 An awesome song, great guitar, and I LOVE the chorus!
Take Me- 9/10 Pretty good, it gets easily stuck in your head though, but its a good thing cause its a good song.
Getting Away With Murder- 11/10 One of the bests on the CD, Jacoby's voice is great in it and same with the guitar
Be Free- 8/10 No comment, just good.
Done With You- 8/10 Good song. One of the slower ones..
Scars- 9/10 This song is awesome, one of my favorites.
Sometimes- 10/10 A slower song, but rrreeally good!
Blanket of Fear- 6/10 I personally did not like this song that much, the chorus just wasnt that catchy.
Tyranny of Normality- 11/10 I love this song, good chorus, good beat.

I don't care if you don't like Papa Roach, but you need to have some respect. I have played piano for eight years, guitar for three, bass for three, and I'm picking the drums pretty quickly. I'll admit that their not the best, but they're pretty damn good. Those rappers and posers who only get online and say what their friends say are a bunch of idiots. If you don't really know what you're writing about then don't write. I've seen people try to compare Metallica and Limp Bizkit for God's sake. But anyways, Getting Away With Murder is a great album. My personal favorites are Scars and Sometimes, but Do Or Die and the title track are close seconds along with the whole rest of the album. If you're a poser and enjoy it, send me your e-mail address and i'll let you know what's wrong with being a poser. Those who genuinly dislike Papa Roach, e-mail me with your reasons because I would actually like to hear them. If any of them are any good then I will listen. This is P Roachs best album. Here are what i think of the songs.
Blood (Empty Promises)- The best song on the cd. 5/5
Not Listening - This song is catchy i even caught it in the radio once. 5/5
Stop Looking - song fetured on NFL Street 2 with a good chorus. 5/5
Take Me - Another song you'll ocassionally hear on the radio. 4/5
Getting Away With Murder - Over played on the radio kind of ruined it for me. 4/5
Be Free - My friend thinks this is the best song on the cd, i think its ok. 4/5
Done With you - I dont really know what to say about this song. 4/5
Scars - A ballad by P Roach. 5/5
Sometimes - Only song on the CD with a solo. 4/5
Blanket of fear- This isnt one of my favorite songs on the cd. 3/5
Tyranny of Normality - Pretty sweet song. 4/5
Do or Die - Worst song on the Cd. 3/5
This cd to me is just freakin sweet. I would buy it if i were you. The enhanced part is like a 5 min making of that i found really cool.
Free Music Review: Great 180 from a band that used to suck

I have to say this. That when Last Resort came out and this band hit it big, it was the most annoying band for about a year. Coby Dick, or Jacoby Shaddix,(whatever you want to call him) was a complete moron, and this band had one hit wonder written all over them. Then their second album came out, and the first single although melodic, and with very little rap in it, was a better change. However now, they have evolved into a great straight ahead rock band, that can be taken seriously. The songs on this album follow no trend, and are solid 3 minute rock songs, with incredible music, however are hampered by weak lyrics.
The best tracks on this album are blood, getting away with murder, scars, sometimes, and not listening. There are two weak songs on this in Tyranny of Normality and Stop Looking Start Seeing, which just suck, but the rest of the album is quite good. Cheers to these guys from finally growing up and stopping that awful rapping. They really do remind me of faith no more, and this album is just as good as faith no more's last album, album of the year.
