This album is awesome. The sound is amazing, even though it is different from old school P Roach. My ratings of the songs are as follows:
Blood (Broken Promises): 5/5 - Personal Fav
Not Listening: 4/5
Stop Lookig Start Seeing: 4/5
Take Me: 6/5 - Very good song, easy to listen to, bit trendy
Getting Away with Murder: 5/5 - Very nice single
Be Free: 4/5 - Good song but not much talent put into it
Done With You: 5/5 - Typical fighting with spouse P Roach Song
Scars: 3/5 - Hate this song, too trendy
Sometimes: 6/5 - personal favorite, talent, very good song
Blanket of Fear: 4/5
Tyranny of Normality: 5/5 - very catchy, in your face
Do or Die: 5/5 - Very good song, very easy to listen to
That is my verdict, not as good as Infest but better than LHT. A lot of people trash on this album because Jacoby no longer rap-rocks, but he does very nicely on this album and he has a nice voice. The songs off of this album are also very killer live. This album is definately worth a listen.

First and formost I HAVE to address this "A Kid's Review" if you hated this cd so da*n much then why did you give it 5 stars you fu**in dumba**?...God what a flaming retard. No wonder I hate stupid kids anyway.
Anyway now this is a great cd. I loved Infest and like many others hated LoveHateTragedy with a passion. some say they only liked a song or 2, i liked none. Total waste of money and gas to go and picking it up. So needless to say i was a little skeptical about going to pick this up so first i went on here to see the kinna reviews the album got. Much to my suprise they were through the roof.
So i thought to myself could this many people be all wrong about one such thing, so i went out and got it never hearing their first single "Getting Away With Murder" until i bought the album and I myself was pleasantly suprised.
If your a rock fan or a Papa Roach fan such as myself go out and get it. Like I said earlier this many people praising an album cant possibly be wrong and they arent, get it and see for yourself!

I have been a papa roach fan since they first came out. After seeing them live I became an even bigger fan. My friend who saw all the old rock bands (such as ACDC and Aerosmith) said that papa roach was probably the best show he has ever been too (and he isnt a huge fan I may add). But I picked up this cd expecting...LoveHateTragedy...re-made. What I got was something completly different. This new album is a piece of Infest...mixed with a little of LoveHateTragedy...and some punk, funk, and metal....all mixed into one album. And I must say Papa Roach did a great job at it. They explore new styles of music with punk sounds from "Done With You"...and more acoustic and softer songs from "Scars" and "Sometimes"...the older papa roach is revealed in songs like "Not Listening" and "Stop Looking Start Seeing". Personally my favorite song is "Take Me"...This cd is for everyone who is a rock fan...and even some others....Give it a shot...listen to some previews...listen to their singles "Scars" and "Getting Away With Murder"...and go buy the album!Free Music Review: It blew my mind away

Infest. amazing album. even if people hated it they can't ignore the fact that it sold over 9 million copies (worldwide that is, only 3 million in the u.s.). LoveHateTragedy came out and was deemed "dissapointing" by the music industry, though, still did sell way. When I heard "Getting Away With Murder" I was shocked at how this band has evolved so I eagerly awaiting the release of this album. I must say that as I type this review I am blasting the CD. For those you lost 'faith' with LoveHateTragedy, they should really hear this album from start to finish. Every track appears to be different. "Be Free" and "Scars" are definitely two of the tracks that stand out to me as to how this band has changed. I buy many CD's and this is my favorite, thus far, for rock this year. The only other CD to come close to it isn't even out yet, which is Jimmy Eat World. Buy this CD if you were a fan of either album, or just like "Getting Away With Murder". I hope these hometown local boys stay around for a long time because I already can't wait for their next album.Free Music Review: Mmmmm...nice stuff. Not what I expected.

So I'm new to Papa Roach. I don't have any of their old albums but I have this one.
It's wonderfully lyrical and the tunes all seem to strike a chord with me. I've never heard them very much before and I never really was interested in them. But I picked this up because I liked "Getting Away With Murder."
What WAS I expecting? Something Korn..ish. Screamy vocals with hard hitting guitars. You know...Nu metal or whatever they want to call it.
Well this is almost kind of like melodic punk, like Finch or My Chemical Romance. I love those groups, and when I heard the songs on this album, well, wow. Was I ever surprised.
I'm not sure what they used to sound like, but this is good. I'd pick it up, and I'd enjoy it, just like I am now. Mmm...
One of my favorite songs on the CD is "Done With You". I think that song really shows the melodic side of this band which is very good.
Go on, buy it. Don't be shy.
