Just getting out of a relationship the first thing a good half of people do is dwell into their music. I for one never thought I'd find the perfect album describing all the pain I feel, and amazingly picking up this Cd was the best choice I've ever made.
I wasn't too impressed with their first single off the album, but I'm glad I didn't let the first impression fool me.
I enjoy 'Sometimes' and 'Blood' but my favorite is 'Take Me.'
Now don't get me wrong, this isn't the kind of Cd you want to pick up just because you're single. This album is going to stay in my musics rotation for a good long time.
No particular cons towards this album nor towards the band.
This album is also the first one I've purchased from the band, I definetly will buy the others now to give them a chance.
So all in all, I'm happy I bought this album, I highly recommend it for any die hard Papa Roach fan or first time listener.

To say the very least, this album is truly Supurb. Papa Roach's Getting Away With Murder, in my opinion, is possibly the best work that they have presented thus far.
I have found that many artists have put promotion songs on the radio to make people want to buy their CD. I feared that Papa Roach may have done the same with this CD by using "Scars" and "Getting Away With Murder" as their ticket seller and the rest a complete heap of garbage.
However, when borrowing this CD from my friend I was proven wrong. Every single track on this CD is a must hear. I quickly returned the CD to my friend and ran out to buy my own copy because I knew that I would wear out the CD... I also had to copy it on my computer to listen to it because I knew I would wear it out too much.
Papa Roach is a wonderful display of art and talent in the music profession. I would highly recommend this CD to anyone who has such a passion to music as I. I thus give this CD 5 stars.

"Getting away with murder" is without a doubt the best Papa Roach CD!!
Papa Roach were a rap metal band with their 2000 release "Infest".
"lovehatetradgey" and "Getting away with murder" are no rap metal albums, but new metal/punk rock albums.
If you liked "lovehatetradegy", then you will love this CD, because it has great guitar, and a great melody to it.
This CD isn't as dark as "lovehatetradgey" or "infest", but it has it's dark moments too.
The lyrics are great as always, and the guitar changes from acoustic to electric at times, which makes this CD different from previous Papa Roach CD's.
Each Papa Roch CD has a different sound and style, and "Getting away with murder" is a must own for all Papa Roach fans.
This album does not have any hip hop elements in it like "infest", but it does have the heavy/screaming elements that each previous CD has.
I recomend this CD.

This latest release from Papa Roach shows how much they have grown as a band, and how tight they really are. Jacoby sounds better than he ever has, Tobin is rock solid on bass, Jerry keeps the guitars howling, and Dave keeps it all moving with his fantastic drumming. The whole Getting Away With Murder CD definitely has a more upbeat sound than what they have done in the past, but that does not mean they compromise their rock integrity. The first two singles, Getting Away With Murder and Scars, are both excellent examples of what you can expect. And that is to expect the unexpected. This is a CD that gets better every time I listen to it, and I have heard it about 500 times already. The songwriting is outstanding, and Jacoby displays a vocal range that any rock & roll frontman would kill for. This will become their defining CD. Despite the fact that Jacoby went from putting practically journal entries into his last CD, then suddenly becoming so positive on this album, everything P-roach has come out with kicks ass! This album is by far the best "new" style album by roach. I love the fact that this album is so much more unique than any other. Scars is my favorite song because it is showing a side of Jacoby that is overcoming an obstacle in his life that really made him realize how important life is. Another one I absolutely love is Take me. I love all of the songs on this album, though. You can really connect with the singer even if you have never gone through his trauma.
Great Album! I recommend it to the entire F*****g world~! Even them rappers! They'll love it.
