Believe me when i say this... but this is one of the best albums out there in stores at the moment. This is P roaches 1st album on a major record label and boy did they provide. The riffs are mind blowing and included with the meaningful lyrics,it adds up to make a quality album. "Infest" IS better then there follow up album "Lovehatetragedy" but it was to be expected (i dont think they'll make a betta cd for a long time). There 3rd album is coming out in march and purely for the love i have for their first album its gona b on the top of my wish wanted list. I like all of the songs but Last Resort, Broken home, binge, snake and between angels and insects are the ones u R sure 2 njoy. I cant think of a bad thing to say about this cd,one of the best Nu-MetaL albums out. GET IT NOW!Free Music Review: A great addition to the nu-metal world!

Oh yeah, this is it. This is the record that displays pure nu-metal, it blew me away, that's right, it did blow me away.I would like to start off by staying that this is an excellent cd, although it's style differs greatly from it's follow-up "lovehatetragedy". Most of the songs on this record are about suicide, boozy and anti-socialism, but believe me, p-roach are not out here to destory the world, they just want to make good music for us.
Standout tracks on this album include "Last Resort" "Dead Cell" and "Between Angels and Insects", each containing a considerable amount of rapping, this maybe annoying to some people. More melodic and mellow tracks include "Binge" and the secret track "Tight Rope", these display and hints what is around the corner of their next cd "lovehatetragedy". The cd starts with a grand opening of "Infest" and concludes with the ultra-heavy and scream-loaded "Thrown Away", all into one powerful album.
This is the record which displays pure nu-metal, and it definitely should not be missed out!

Papa Roach's 2000 major label debut "Infest" is well, one hell of a Album, Coby's rapping is much better than Fred Durst's, This album has nothing but anger and how bad the world is getting these day's. The Hidden track on the cd is my 2nd favorite song next to Between Angels and Insects. The Bass on the Hidden track called *tightrope* is booming with coby's thoughts on the world. Say what you want to say about Papa Roach, but this album I was very impressed with.Free Music Review: One of the best rap-metal albums

This is one of my favourite albums. For me, rap-metal should be this way. Rap-singing and screaming vocals, fast and hard guitar riffs, great lyrics (not just simply 'Hey girl, come with me, I'm cool, let's party', etc).From the catchy 'Last resort' (for me, the most catchy song of all time), the awesome 'Between angels and insects' (my favourite track), the heart-felt 'Broken home', the fast and hard 'Dead cell', the powerful 'Snakes'...all songs are simply perfect.
Second Papa Roach album 'LoveHate Tragedy' was very disappointing to me after hear what this band can do. 'Infest' is a rap-metal masterpiece and I really hope Papa Roach next album to be more similar to this than 'LoveHate Tragedy'.

I want to know, who was the moron that decided to bring this MASTERPIECE down to a 3 and a half stars? Maybe they saw a PA sticker on it, didn't hear any of the music, and assumed it [stinks] and starting rating it bad. Infest is one of the BEST albums I have ever heard in my LIFE, and Papa Roach has become one of my favorite bands ever. This album is simply amazing. My favorite song on here is Dead Cell. This album is worth every penny that you spend on it.
