Free Music Review: Great Work from Papa Roach

Papa Roach's infest is just a great album. Jacoby's lyrics are intense and powerful,
and the riffs produced by jerry horton are
strong and fast. The album starts out with
the song infest which really sets the tone
for the entire album. The album contains a
number of solid tracks, the ones that stand
out for me are Last Resort, Between Angels & Insects,
Revenge, Binge and Thrown away, which contains
the bonus track tightrope. Buy This Album!

Papa Roach's Infest has the intensity, drive, reality and other genre influences that give this album a complete feel. This LP begins with the title track with a head banger driven guitar with a touch of rap. "Broken Home" is a highlight of this album with lyrics of reality and pain, but the echoing guitar riffs should get all the applause. Track 11 "Thrown Away" has an additional track behind it. It has a Jamaican, Reggae feel to it and this was a good way to end this album. Beyond the music there's a message about today's society and even those without. Free Music Review: Great

I've had this album for years and its amazing. It may not be "true metal" to some listeners out there (I see that from the other reviews), but its still a great solid album with original sounds to each song, and compelling lyrics. To this day, even though I listened to it non stop years ago, I can still listen to the album and enjoy it. "last resort" got beat up,slashed and gashed, and then played again by radio.i loved it from the first time i heard it, but the rest of the album is just as good."infest" is a heavy opener with coby dick explaining who he is and his mission."broken home", a very diverse track is extrenely good with great lyrics."dead cell" is probably the heaviest song on here, and coby really explodes on the expanded choruses-"BORN WTIH NO SOUL,LACK OF CONTROL..."-my favorite song on the cd by far and the first song they play at shows, which you should definitely attend."between angels and insects" gets old quick, and im surprised it was a single."revenge" is my second favorite.an extremely heavy ending after a turntable breakdown.these guys really blew up the rap metal scene in 2000, and have been one of my favorite bands ever since.outstanding.Free Music Review: not good

This CD isn't that good. Plus I've seen this band twice in Tucson and the singer lip syncs, it's totally obvious. I wouldn't give effort to buy this cd when the artist can't even give effort to sing on his own. Don't waste your time.
