Free Music Review: Oh my god!

Most of my friends loved this CD before I bought it, and it was on my list of CD's to get, but I didn't really know any of the songs. Then, at a party, I heard "Between Angels and Insects" and I knew I wanted the CD. Let me tell you that I hadn't ever heard "Last Resort" before, and the CD is worth buying for that one song. It has been my favorite song for about 3 months now, and it never gets old. Here are the songs that really stand out:

I'm not a fan of rap, but Papa Raoch is such an amazing band that I don't even notice. If you don't have this CD, then you absolutly have too!
Free Music Review: AWESOME!

This is the best CD ever! Although a lot of people are starting to hate rap rock because of Limp Bizkit this brings it back to life. The guitar riffs are melodic and catchy and the lyrics are good. Coby Dick also can sing, unlike Fred Durst and his voice brings so much emotion to the songs. Also, this CD is a lot more than rap rock. It has a lot of punk/metal riffs in it and there is not one song that is just pure rap so it should satisfy mosh pit fans everywere. The best songs are "Deadcell," "Between Angels And Insects," "Blood Brothers," "Binch," "Broken Home" and maybe "Last Resort" although it's got old thanks to radio and MTV. Overall though this CD is very good and all the tracks are good the ones I metioned just appeal to me most. Give these guys a chanve and don't rule them out because of the genre!Free Music Review: i know he raps-so what this is great stuff

"last resort" got beat up,slashed and gashed, and then played again by radio.i loved it from the first time i heard it, but the rest of the album is just as good."infest" is a heavy opener with coby dick explaining who he is and his mission."broken home", a very diverse track is extrenely good with great lyrics."dead cell" is probably the heaviest song on here, and coby really explodes on the expanded choruses-"BORN WTIH NO SOUL,LACK OF CONTROL..."-my favorite song on the cd by far and the first song they play at shows, which you should definitely attend."between angels and insects" gets old quick, and im surprised it was a single."revenge" is my second favorite.an extremely heavy ending after a turntable breakdown.these guys really blew up the rap metal scene in 2000, and have been one of my favorite bands ever since.outstanding.Free Music Review: Ma that's my papa (roach)

You may never stop comparing these guys with Limp Bizkit, or anything else of the kind, but you must know P-Roach is something really special. They're a band that's based rather on a rock music than a pure dumb rap, so there're much more cultures and styles in every sound present on the cd, as well as much more feelings.Touching vocals, memorable melodic guitars, the songs that are varied and equally unforgettable, that all gives a clear picture of the talent the guys so luckily possess. And don't forget that's only their debut (hopefully, the boys will go on).
Lyrics? Well, of you get tired or slightly depressed, just give a break. That's all about our life, anyway.
The real standouts are Between Angels and Insects, Infest, Last Resort, Broken Home, Blood Bros, and maybe Never Enough. The rest are still cool. Go buy this.

How some people can sit back and give this cd a 3 out of 5 is beyond my comprehension. It is a brilliant mix of hardcore riffs blended with soft slow melodic tunes. Coby's vocals are amazing, he can sing, rap and scream if need be, and he never screams too much as some bands *cough *SLIPKNOT cough* do. The guitar work is great, ranging from ryhthmic stuff like the hidden track tightrope to fast angry songs like Dead Cell. Some songs such as Last Resort and Between Angels and Insects have deep meaningful mesages which kids can really relate to. This cd has some bad points, some songs to me just have no appeal, like Snakes or Infest. That's just me, but this cd is too good to be brought down by a couple of mistakes.These guys are sure to continue delivering the goods in their next album Lovehatetragedy, keep it up guys.
