As most people know Papa Roach's best CD is Infest, but this is the seocnd best one by far. Now people I've seen on here who were giving it a 1 lack the knowledge of what this CD is actually about. It's not about how hard the songs are it's about the emotion of death. Then there are people complaining about the little CD inserts oh man guess what it's not like Papa Roach is the only band doing it and it has nothing to do with the price of the CD.
The cd is about death and how it effects you. Some people go to the darkside others find a way to come out of the darkness. The song Roses On My Grave was written for a girl named Rachel Davis who died in 2005 in a car accident and it also has been dedicated to Jacoby's step-grandfather who committed suicide. So, you want to call them emo becuase they wrong lyrics about death and how it makes people feel then call them Emo. There's nothing wrong with letting your feelings out in music especially after a death of a person. So, if you don't like it that's your own perogative, but don't judge the band because you can't handle the fact that the bands sound is a little different.
I was impressed with the CD because they were emphasizing Jacoby's voice. The best songs on the CD are Forever, Roses On My Grave, Sometimes, and ...To Be Loved. Yes, the CD is a little bit more about playing with emotions but then again that's what you're supposed to do is let everything out that you're feeling when someone dies. Sometimes it takes a longer period of time then others such as with Disturbed and the song Inside The Fire. Papa Roach is a very underrated band and if you're looking for some good music I suggest purchasing this album.

Papa Roach grow musically with each album, and if you are a long time fan like myself you will have basically seen the band grow up over the past years. Songs dedicated to being where they are now and the dark parts of their past (Jacoby especially) basically force it on you, they are back and they are not the same. LoveHateTragedy signalled a low point for the band as nu-metal was in its deathrows, and along came Getting Away With Murder which was a huge step to where they are now.
I cannot recommend this album enough. There is not a bad song on this album, and even some songs I was dubious about grew on me. I know one of the other reviewers said that when he/she got to Time Is Running Out/What Would You Do, he/she felt like skipping back to the beginning of the CD. I too felt this way to start with, but eventually the songs grow on you, and you have to go passed these songs to get to the great My Heart Is A Fist and Roses On My Grave. Put these with To Be Loved, Crash, The World Around You, Forever and I Devise My Own Demise and you have an album worth the money .

When I heard GAWM, I was hooked on Papa Roach. Getting Away With Murder (the album) was very strong and the title track is unbelievable in concert.
So here comes the Paramour Sessions. An album that has some of their roots on it (rapping verses in To Be Loved) but still has that alt-hard rock song found on much of GAWM (chorus in To Be Loved, Forever, ect).
A VERY strong CD and I'd say a must-have for any true Papa Roach fan. There's some rapping like from Last Resort, there's some plain rock, found on Forever and such, and there's even an orchestral part on Roses On My Grave.
This band can do almost anything! If you like true rock with some rap for spice, get this record.

I am enjoying my new CD and it only took 2days from the time I placed the order until I found it in my mailbox. R U Kidding me? Is this the same band? This is an amazing CD that is about as far removed from that 'stuff' they released as the first CD.....just blazing rock/metal....no rap or pop stuff on this folks.
If you dig this new heavier melodic Roach, check out the new Fozzy All That Remains Reloaded
