Free Music Notes for All We Know Is Falling AlbumFree Music Review: lackluster crap Hit: 2 Stars
I'm not usually a negative person, nor do i usually give bad reviews for a CD i've only listened to twice. I guess Paramore's *all we know is falling* just brought out that side of me you rarely see. I saw this band w/ TheAUDITION in Bakersfield Ca, and although TA tore it up, paramore was unimpressive, to say the least. I scored a copy from my friend afterwards just to see if maybe i had missed something. I didn't. For the most part, all the songs seem to run together, and the vocal patterns get too similar by the forth or fifth song. It seems as if the lead singer (a chick, by the way) has a very limited vocal range (something evident in the live show, but fixable on tape), and because of that, you run into too many similarities within the melodies. James paul wisner has impressed me in the past with his production talents, but not on this record. I understand that the band itself is made up of teens, but thats no excuse. Of the 10 songs on here, the first two, and the last, are the only standouts. the rest are just filler, i guess. It's understandable that alot of buzz has been created around this band because of it's female driven vocals, but at the end of the day, *all we know is falling* isn't anything you haven't heard before, from a guy, or girl.
