There are so many times somebody who is a actress and a singer as well, can either be delivered well like Vanessa Williams, or somebody who seems more like they are just manufactured from producers like Jennifer Lopez. But, when word came out about socialite and overexposed persona Paris Hilton was going to make music, it definitely seemed to be a joke, and it really does. For somebody who made it infamous and famous because of a sex tape, her idea of recording doesn't really gear many heads. Her beginning appeal is that she has really lasted over her 15 minutes of fame, and this records displays that theory well.
Paris Hilton's debut record Paris, displays her as trying to imitate what Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera have shined on when they started back in 1999. This record on that other hand misses out for Paris. Her debut single Stars Are Blind is very awful, and shows a vibe that is looking more like a pleaser for what die hard Paris Hilton fans want. The feeling of the rest of the songs miss out as well, with each way Paris sings her voice out, especially on her cover of Rod Stewart's Do Ya Think I'm Sexy. That which is definitely the most atrocious, and disgraceful covers I've ever heard within the past few years.
All in all, Paris Hilton not only does not sing at all, she doesn't shine at all. Her record is one of the worst records I've ever heard this past year. It sounds more like it is a piece of junk rather than a real soulful definitive album. This album is not even worth purchasing, and Paris Hilton is definitely blind if she wants to keep doing this for a long term career.
