Free Music Notes for Come on Get Happy: Very Best of Partridge Family

Free Music Review: A Happy Tune
Hit: 4 Stars

The music is great and from a time less complicated. It was wonderful that a family could do something together that benefitted not only themselves, but all those around them listening to their music. Their music is worth listening to and to be passed on.

Free Music Review: Not their Very Best
Hit: 4 Stars

This album is fun if you remember their music and show. It doesn't have as many of my favorite songs as some of their other albums. I like the Crossword Puzzle album the best. This one does have their theme song on it, though.

Free Music Review: Fun music
Hit: 4 Stars

This is a fun album and listening to it brings a lot of memories-the songs are versatile and upbeat and some of the best the Family ever did!

Free Music Review: Music Sound
Hit: 4 Stars

The quality of the sound could be better. Would like to see more songs with the family included versus just Mr. Casedy.

Free Music Review: Quintessential early 70s ultra-lite cracker rock.
Hit: 3 Stars

In the lower levels of Hell the Devil has a place where he keeps all the trash-mouthed gangsta rappers that fall his way. Their torment is this music played in endless repeat for all eternity. Actually, the entire Partridge Family music catalog would be there but this CD would do a fine job on its own.

I was 10 years old when the show aired and my folks bought me the first couple LPs. They got spun quite a bit and even then there were songs I didn't like for some of the reasons I wouldn't like them now. This isn't particularly good music but some of it has pretty decent melody and harmony going. I walked around work with I Think I Love You playing in my head a lot today and I still really kinda like Point Me In The Direction Of Albuquerque. It has a lot of nostalgic value for those who liked the series and haven't seen it or heard the music in a long time. It's fun and worth the small price for the trip.
