In my humble opinion, the PMG has never bettered this stunning album, a mixture of the Brazilian flavoured sounds that dominated later albums, and the contemporary jazz guitar, and sheer lyrical hummability that Metheny has made his trademark.Stand out tracks are The First Circle, Tell it All, and End of the Game (for the guitar synthesizer). And don't forget those beautiful ballads. I never tire of this album.
