This CD is awesome - it's the only thing I've had on my IPOD for the last month. I'm a huge Train fan to start with (obviously), but this just blew me away, there is not one song on this CD that I don't absolutely love - I couldn't even pick a favourite, they are all fantastic.Free Music Review: Don't miss the Train!

I LOVE Train. I was lucky enough to win a chance to see Pat Monahan in a private concert and he sounded AWESOME! Before that, this CD wasn't easy to find anywhere but Amazon! It wasn't a CD I totally loved from the very start, besides the one song that was getting so much air-time, but I'm glad I bought it. The more I hear the songs, the more I like them. To the casual listener, the voice sounds exaclty like Train (duh!) but the songs have a different feel. I don't want to say less rock-y & more almost blues-y, but they are just slightly more mellow or serious than Train songs. I just heard a James Blunt song on the radio "You're Beautiful" & it reminded me of this CD.Free Music Review: A nice debut

Pat has without a doubt one of the best voices in all of pop/rock today. His first solo effort has enough new direction to seperate it from sounding like another "Train" song, but is still based with enough of that sound to pull "Train" fans along to this CD.
"These Eyes" has been the only cut to date getting significant airplay, which is a shame because it is a very good disc and his voice is extraordinary. Hopefully it will pull some of the MTV crown into becoming "Train" fans. "Pirate on the Run" is in my mind, the strongest cut on the record.

I just saw Pat Monahan again tonight in concert. The man is one of the best voices in America, but most people have no idea who he is. It is so unfortunate, because Pat's music is awesome. I wish I could be the promoter for Train and Pat, because they truly are one of the best bands in America. Most people know their songs, but have no idea it is them singing it. Share their music with a friend!Free Music Review: Excellent!

I wasn't a big fan of the band "Train." Now that Pat Monahan is on his own, I find his voice and lyrics amazing. I like almost all of the songs on this CD, they're definitly catchy.
