Free Music Review: One of his best albums

I'm a long time Patrick O'Hearn fan -- this has to be one of his best works. I've spent a fair bit of time in Alaska and upper Norway. This album does a great job of capturing the feeling that you get when you view a glacier or a field of snow surrounding a mountain. I admit, I like concept albums, where each of the songs contributes to a common theme. Glaciation does just that. The sound segments that are listed above do not capture the essence of this work. You really need to listen to the entire album for the mood to set in. I give this effort top marks. If this is your first time listening to Patrick, I also recommend 'Windham Hill Essential Series' and 'Ancient Dreams.'
