Yep, that's what this is, the definitive collection from the artist who made the definitive recordings of many of these songs. For example, this was the first time I'd heard Patsy's version of "True Love" and it literally took my breath away. I also liked the album technically although perhaps the master equalizer could have used a little more treble boost, but that's mostly a matter of personal taste and is easily compensated for.
The bottom line: if you're a Patsy Kline fan and don't have all of these songs, buy this CD!

This is a terrific collection with a wide range of songs from one of the most spectacular voices the music industry has ever heard. Patsy Cline's gorgeous voice and the emotion she put into her songs makes them heartbreaking to listen to, or if an upbeat song, especially fun to listen to. She just can't be topped. I only wish there were a Patsy Cline Christmas album available. I highly recommend this CD to any Patsy Cline or country music fan. Great selection of hit songs!Free Music Review: sheer class

first off, amazon.com-you rock, great service!the cd I puchased of patsy cline is mind blowing, what a class act she is and was a very talented artist in her time and today as well, she can sing anything and sing it well! If you are into classic country or bluegrass this is a must have!

Here's 22 songs by one of Country Music's greatest women. While not as traditional as Kitty Wells or the younger Loretta Lynn, noone could deliver a song quite like Patsy. This album contains 22 ORIGINAL Patsy recordings, and there's not a bad one in the bunch. Best of all, the price cannot be beat. Break out your wallet and grab this one while you can. There aren't many things in this world that I'm certain about, but Patsy Cline was the greatest female country singer there's ever been and 2nd place is miles behind. The purity of her voice, the yearning and the phrasing are so unique that she really is in a class all by herself. I'd buy a CD of her singing nursery rhymes.
