Free Music Review: A FEW CLASSIC MOMENTS....NO MORE, NO LESS

It seems to be soooooooooo many artists who for some unknown reason finds themselves digging up the dead (For Duets), Finding almost ANYBODY to do an album full of Duets, or an album of Re-makes!!! There's a saying that STILL holds true..."If you can't do a re-make Equal or BETTER than the original...DON'T DO IT!", which is the case here...There are a few golden moments..."Ain't No Way" With Mary J. Blige. We already know Mary J. Blige is not only the Queen Of Hip-Hop/R&B...And we might as well add in Queen Of Samples! But Re-Makes/Sampling works for Mary on so many levels. Patti LaBelle has always been known for doing something just a little bit different (She has at 5 Decades of Hits under her belt), so this version is pretty good, but nothing to run out and hunt down! (What to hear an even better version? Check out Jean Carne's version). Other moments are:
"Love Don't Live Here Anymore" (I'm suprised there isn't a Mary J. Blige Re-make or is it???). And the last is: "I'll Stand By You"...It shines pretty good.
Hopefully we'll get better from Patti or the Albums we've become use to with the 2 or 3 Re-makes, and move on to new/original songs.
