Free Music Notes for Feelin' Kinda Patton

Free Music Review: Just as funny the first, fifth or twentieth time
Hit: 5 Stars

I'm a huge fan of Patton's stand-up and have seen him perform live many times, so few of these routines were new to me. (The porn spam bit was one I hadn't heard before.) But what separates good comedy from great comedy is its repeatability, and that's what makes this CD a must-buy. I still laugh and laugh at classic Oswalt bits like "80's Metal," "Steak" and "Your Moment of Irony." And "Robert Evans" slays me every single time. If you're new to Oswalt's stand-up, buy this CD and enjoy what you've been missing; if you're a long-time fan, you'll be glad for the opportunity to be able to listen to Patton without a two-drink minimum.

Free Music Review: Best Comedian Working Today.
Hit: 5 Stars

And work, he does. Not only does he have a recurring role on a sit-com, King of Queens (which is cleary just a way to pay the bills, and a waste of his talent, in my opinion), not only is he always doing stand-up, not only does he polish high-profile screenplays, not only does he write comics... etc, etc.

The point is this CD is the funniest thing I've heard, well, since I saw him live 3 years ago and didn't know who the heck he was. His joy in his work is infectious and his razor sharp wit and pop culture knowledge will wow you and win you over, as it did me.

Unless of course you're an advocate for gay retards. In which case you will hate it.

Free Music Review: I'm Feeling Kinda Like Patton Rules
Hit: 5 Stars

This is a fabulous album from one of the best comics working today. If you've never heard of Oswalt, he's very much in the vein of Dave Attell. He cracks on everything from midgets to retards to breakfast treats. The CD, from front to back, is one of the best stand-up albums in recent memory. Plainly put: this guy is hilarious.

On a side note, this 50 or so minute album was culled from a two and a half hour performance. You can purchase the full set on a double CD from Patton's website though(pattonoswalt.com).

Check Patton Oswalt out. You won't be disappointed.

Free Music Review: My car would be in the tree!
Hit: 5 Stars

The title of this review is a classic example of an Oswalt aside you'll be repeating to your friends in the know for a while. I've been a fan for some time, and i have to say i love this album as much as i love my Steve Martin or Eddie Murphey. It's too bad the day of the super comedian is over, because Patton would be right up there. Or maybe it's not, because they'd give him a sitcom and he'd have to try to clean it up for the masses.

Free Music Review: Ow, my sides
Hit: 5 Stars

This CD is so funny, you'll have to change your pants at least twice before it's over. It gets better and better as it goes on, too. God bless Patton...Anybody who can work Fudgie the Whale into a stand-up bit deserves the bronze star of comedy. Buy this CD. Now!!
