Patty Griffin is one of the greatest singer-songwriters of the past decade and this cd is just as good as her others. Patty sings with honesty and raw emotion that is rarely, if ever, found in 'pop' music. If you enjoy heartfelt lyrics and acoustic guitar then you will enjoy this cd. 'Nobody's Crying' is one of my favorite songs of all time. 'Rain', 'Making Pies', 'Long Ride Home', 'Stolen Car', and 'Be Careful' are my favorites from this cd. "Living With Ghosts", and "Flaming Red", and "Impossible Dream" are other Patty cds worth checking out. I can only hope that Patty will have more music on the way.Free Music Review: Truly outstanding artist

Patty has become my favorite artist. After hearing and falling in love with this album I've gone out and bought Flaming Red and Living with Ghost and am in the process of getting the unreleased Silver Bell album. The talent to write and a beautiful voice Patty is the real deal. Of the three albums I have I can't say I like one better than the other. Living with ghost is Patty and a guitar stripped down to the basic talent she is. Flaming Red is her rock personification. in 1000 Kisses she returns closer to country. I have yet to hear a song of patties that I don't like. You will love this album.Free Music Review: One of the best I've heard, hands down!

I have been following P.G. for many years. I was a huge fan of Flaming Red and didn't anticipate such a tremendous reaction as I had with this album. Once again, her melodies have such a rich texture to them and she can sing the hell out of anything. It's also important to note she doesn't over-sing anything here as some artists do. This band seemed to decide to just let her do what she loves to do and just let it happen. Such magic. Really nicely produced. Unlike previous albums where I don't love every song I really enjoyed her choices. Great as a gift - great for the car. Nicely done. Enjoy!!Free Music Review: She's back....finally!!

The record has the raw power of her first recording, Living With Ghosts, as well as the musical complexity of her second, Flaming Red. Do yourself a favor -- if you love music, buy this record. I was only introduced to the music of Patty griffin in 2007 and had the pleasure of seeing her in concert. I am now going back to her library of cd's to see what I have been missing over the years. 1000 kisses is a fine collection of songs and one of my favorite cd's to listen to. Like so many other talented songwriters that do not get air time, we hear other artists perform her songs...the Dixie Chicks and Emmylou Harris come to mind. Hearing the songs from Ms. Griffin is a simple joy.
