It was the Amazon.com reviewers that had me curious about this CD!! You all were right on the money!! Patty Griffin's "Living with Ghosts" is just amazing!! I played that CD over and over and I seriously pondered the idea of taking guitar lessons!! The song that really touched me was "You're not Alone", so beautiful and simple. She is very talented and everyone should have this CD in their collection!!Free Music Review: Gripping

A girl friend of mine was recommending some albums to me and mentioned Patty Griffin's first release, Living with Ghosts. I was hooked after the first song. I gave the entire album a listen from beginning to end and decided this was a keeper.The tone of the album is haunting yet endearing and Patty's voice is truly angelic. I recommend this to someone looking for some good easy listening via approachable music and lyrics.

If you like singer/songwriter acoustic music, this is a truly excellent disc. It's amazing what one woman can do with just her (fabulous) voice and an acoustic guitar. The songs sound remarkably different from one another -- in tempo, melody, theme etc. Not repetitive. Inspirational to songwriters. PG is great live too --saw her open for Emmylou Harris in Atlanta. Looking forward very much to the upcoming Silver Bell.Free Music Review: Essential Listening !

After hearing "Cain" from the Lilith Fair CD I knew I had to hear more from this artist. I was not disappointed! You know when you have found a winner when you love a song the very first time - "Moses" on this CD is it for me. Actually the first three songs are so moving I still get goose bumps when I hear them - and I have heard them now 20 times or more. She is awesome!!Free Music Review: AMAZING CD

This is the best C.D. I have ever bought. I got it when it first came out and I have played it like a million times since. Her vocals are amazing and the songwriting is perfect. There is so much raw emotion in each song. I never get sick of listening to this cd and I look forward to another wonderful album by Patty Griffin. I recommend this cd to anyone who truly appreciates music!!!
